if so then that's a bummer since just one aura general for defense is sufficient. i.e. hindenburg on land and bacon/scheer on sea. But then again two defense auras are useful since in many missions you are required to split your forces into two distinct groups No he has cav commander. Its not ideal but at least you can split your cavarly forces. He has stone wall jacksons skill set except with alert and cav commander instead of tactics master and station. Ah, then he is a majorly improved Moltke , I might swap alert for tactics master.

Now we have an excellent new toy - swapping skills every time we bored using the old ones

In the latest version, there is no point having McCellan and Hotzendorf, as Beseler proceeds the all the skills Hotzendorf has, plus plain and higher stat, and Moltke has a much greatest value due to his mountaineer specialist.
You just have to simply swap counterattack to cavalry commander to make Moltke the most valuable cavalry general in game.

Moltke seems to be overshadowed by Plumer with the new update, but he will be always cherished as a prime beginning free general. As for McClellan and Hotzendorf, with the update of textbooks some time ago they have already been knocked off the golden roster, just that they seem to be valuable for history missions and nothing more...

Don’t think I m going to change my generals much. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to change if you already have a sold team either. 1% Attack hardly means anything in game. I mean Beseler is the artillery general with the best offensive output, even though its only by 1% Hindenburg is way more costly since in order to maximize his offensive potential you need to swap out defensive formation or artillery commander if you already have it on him. Whereas for Beseler just swap mountain and he's a beast Maybe if you are starting a new game. But if your generals are already build in stone there’s no need to change

Now, I am looking forward to see what Straussenberg can provide. And Beseler and Hipper must be added to my team, and McCellan and Hotzendorf will be dismissed.
I think I have constructed a very effective team with wide diversity of skills, i like the idea of commodo, and thus i have never swapped out the terrain specialist skills.
Here will be my best 12 man, while 40 textbooks are used to change 1 skill in every of 8 generals
#Inf *Gallwitz (tunnel→plain) *Nicholas I (tunnel→intercept) *Grant(array→street fighting)
#Cav *Moltke(counter attack→cav aura buff) *Jackson(station→ps) *Sidney *Eugen
#Art *Hindenburg(land fort→tactic master) *Beseler *Ivanov(inspiration→art aura buff) *Kemal(counter attack→salvo)
#Nav *Hipper

Really?I am looking forward to see how Plumer and Straussenberg will look like if screenshots are available.
I would change my mind, as I am looking for replacement to Gallwitz and McCellan if there are someone much greater.

Yes, I Iike the idea of 4th man in each category of troop, in fact i use Sidney and Eugen more frequent than Molkte, But now I am looking forward to make him a top place in conquest as he can do charge in Alps.
