^dogfight can be very useful for campaign missions as well, that is why he is both a premier mid-game and an endgame artillery general for your final lineup

They both only need one skill changed so they’re almost equal but Ivanov is cheaper so get him first Ivanov can be used as an aura artillery general instead of Hindenburg. Namely artillery commander and/or defensive formation. Dogfight too. With this Beseler can be fully fitted for the offensive, and Ivanov as a hard-hitting support. Thanks Harry and lumen a lot for the super quick answer, totally wasn’t expecting that. (thought it would take days or even weeks) I have been visiting this community for several years now but this is my first question ever lol.

Beseler vs Ivanov ? Who should I prioritize when choosing a strong attack artillery general ? Thanks. Imo get besseler and swap his pf for artillery commander. Then swap storm for jungle and he will be the ideal artillery general. Its better to have one extremely strong artillery general starting out.

Krupp Cannon god. On the Spring Offensive, I saw him one-shot a Tank and chip away 173 HP from Herbert Plumer that also was in a tank.

5/5 stars. Heavy hitter, fast as lightning and a moustache that even George I of Greece would respect. What is there not to like? Maybe my best buy in game.

The only thing that I dislike about him is that he can go past King. Now, while that is supposed to be a good thing, King is on the expensive category of ennobling, yet it provides fewer benefits than Prince. If you don’t ennoble him past Prince, that obnoxious arrow will be annoying you every time you want to see his stats. Thankfully this is dismissible as an inconvenience and doesn’t exist at all if you do ennoble him (Although don’t be surprised if you start suffering from silver medal shortages and you don’t have a lot of optimally-upgraded generals).

What you have is a artillery general with chasing effect. No aura or stable output.Just plain raw destruction towards the opposition. No terrain can stop his momentum

I would switch PF with JF instead. Two great terrain bonuses + 3 great offensive skills. Though yeah, Storm Fortifications isn’t really that relevant. I would change storm before plain. If you swap storm for jungle, he’ll have max mobility, will have an terrain bonus always active, will be able to attack twice, and will also be able to take advantage of jungle mountain tiles with ease. That or trade strom fortifications for something artillery expert for huge damage bonuses. Is storm a bad skill? It's kind of like the edge/intercept for artillery. The extra damage for cities is nice. I might get beseler soon to help me complete the french campaign.

I prefer mountain fighting for the extra speed

I don't know why, but I expect him to lack 3 of his front teeth.
