Riflemen and Light Infantry/Light Machine Gunners have 8 -> 12 mobility. Hence, I use Riflemen to Finland 1939. Umm, I believe you’ve mixed WC4 and EW6:1914 up. The Finland 1939 conquest is notorious for having you steal cities and take cities without doing anything in the first 15 turns. I was alluding to't and it was intended (realizes this is 50th post)

The only thing i found useful when using this is the extra health, just like the light infantry (1912 onwards), I place them on my cities when they get general-flanked or encircled, provided i have enough money to sustain that is. After all, 50 is always cheaper than 85 when your economy is at stake. The biggest problem with them is that they don't have engineers. What a shame.

In conquests i rarely use them but still do. In Campaigns, wherever necessary (i.e. challenges). But to answer your question, i do but rarely.
