I deleted and redownloaded the game cuz I wasted a lot of medals the first time I played, so I redid GB 1812 in 46 turns. Well I'm pretty sure that's faster than what I got last time, but for some reason I'm only at 300 years when last time I got 450. I'm not as far in the campaign as last time (only at Battle of Marengo/Trafalgar). Was gonna get kate to help w/ trafalgar. Does how far you're into the campaign affect years? So frustrated/ confused and newd help

Campaign progress only effects the years ruled for princesses like Lan.

I only have one save and it's just before I defeated the the final enemy which was the Dutch Admiral ship. So I just keep loading the save, killing him, and hope to get Kate? I just read on another thread caled how and where to win free princessed by saltin she requires 450 years.

I think you weren't far enough in campaign or you didn't have alot of resources So campaign progress doesn't count or does? What is enough resources? I got 4k gold, 700 iron, and 10k food. Thanks btw.

Thanks btw. About campaign, I unlocked Kate with like 5 missions finished for France and Coalition. It's because of the resources maybe (low iron) or it might be because you're over the turn limit. I know that Years ruled increases with resources that you have at the end

Thanks btw. I repeat: It only counts for the elite princesses. I got Sophia right off the bat with no campaign progress and Kate shortly after.

Also the Hessians sniped Washington with 1 unit from the US while I had half me forces there lol, could this be the case? Do i need to control it?

No, turns are more important than resources imo The Hessians just need to help you win faster, they will have no impact on your final score (as long as you don't play as them)

I guess it's turns cuz I got my industry to 2200 at turn 56, but my years ruled went down another hundred. Weird, considering the 45 or 46 turns run was faster than the one i got Kate with. Well whatever, time to try again all day tomorrow. Thanks so much guys

Even so, i reloaded the save right at the point where I killed the last enemy at least 30 times at this point and I haven't gotten her. I know it'a a random chance but I don't think someone's luck could be this bad lol.

When did he say that? 450 years is a lot for a basic princess.

Anyway, as much as I hate saying this but I think it'd be the smartest to restart. Save your game and do another one (I recommend UK 1812)
