So yeah, they are one of those units that are very good, but that take too long to research and that by the time they are researched, you will probably have Armored Cars on the field. Thus, it’s better to make use of them as powerful starting units. Very true, the technology system in ew6 sucks. That’s the big nerf to all the special units otherwise guard cavalry would absolutely dominate If It has rifle would be too op against anything.

Well Air Gun soldiers on generals can deal 130+60 damage, which when combined with Tactics Master can hand out around 400 damage with just one unit. But its an on-and-off chance ability though, not too reliable seeing that air gun soldiers are pretty fragile, unlike the Guards of France and Russia

Well Air Gun soldiers on generals can deal 130+60 damage, which when combined with Tactics Master can hand out around 400 damage with just one unit. But its an on-and-off chance ability though, not too reliable seeing that air gun soldiers are pretty fragile, unlike the Guards of France and Russia As I wrote before, they are sadly not worth researching and are better as powerful placeholders for your Infantry generals.

Or just a unit to spam during late game invasion of the US in 1917 (Spamming Firebats, Krupps, Tanks and Armoured Cars) Somehow it still ended in a stalemate and wasn't broken for 10 more rounds until Ivanov was operational again.
