I did Franco-Prussian War, got Moltke, and he looks like he won't disappoint. Swap counter for jf. He will be very strong, but also dies quickly unfortunately

Does this look like a fair bit of progress for 2 days?

Make besseler your aura general. But get ivanov first as he only needs one textbook change.

Does this look like a fair bit of progress for 2 days? It’s decent progress but I have a question, why do you only have so little medals if you have already reached the second campaign? And you didn’t buy a medal general

Yeah, artillery just in general is an absolute beast in this game when compared to the prequel. Mostly because
1. You can give any artillery general tactics master. In the prequel, maria was the only artillery good general with tactics master. And she was the equivalent of stepanovic w/o any skill changes for cavarly.
2. Infantry no longer has reliable grenadier units for every country. They do really power damage against cities.
3. They are great anti armour units. As any other unit will struggle going up against an armored car, artillery units will deal massive damage in one hit. When combined with tactics master, powerful generals like ludendorf on a armored car and reduced to ash.
4. They are good for anything honestly.

Are three of them enough?I'm planning to get Hinden and Ivanov while selling Hotzendorf
