What are the stars that are below my profile name. Stoic has a Nick name and others too have similar ones. What do they say? How they are obtained?

Those are your forum progress stars; the more you post the more stars you will acquire. Your forum ranking will also rise, all the way to general, marshall and then the limit of darth vader (500+ posts). Your rank is a first lieutenant, while Stoic has the rank of darth vader, but he chose to display his world fastest conqueror group. (you can do the same if you are in any forum group, e.g. illuminati, youtubers, WFC, newsletter editors, engineer corps (modding), RolePlay enthusiasts etc.)

There are also stars below our messages visible only to PC users. I use mobile version nowadays most of the time, so I can't see them anymore. But I lost my stars 2 or 3 times already, so the whole thing is highly unstable A general rule is that the more you write the better. Interaction is the most important thing, especially when others like or accept your answers. But, as I said, the whole system is unstable and unreliable

Alright, here's my take that no one cares about (why should you?). The absolute best turn-based economy-and-warfare games are made challenging due to how creative you have to be to solve the problems that are given to you in terms of real difficulties - absolute freedom is the best type of gameplay. I'd like there to be more of a reliance on strategy rather than a reliance on minor tactics, general proficiency, and economic strength (although it should definitely play a part of the challenge, economic management). I don't want problems that look like this: heavy reinforcements coming in 2 turns | heavy reinforcements coming in 4 turns | this tile DNE | this tile DNE | this tile DNE | this tile DNE | this tile DNE | this tile DNE | this tile DNE | this tile DNE | objectives in bold | enemy in red; your troops in blue | | | | | | HMG (Trench) | Light Artillery | | | | | | Howitzer | | | | | HMG (Trench) | |
| | Stable | Level IV (VI) City | | New Infantry | Armored Car | | | | New Infantry (Trench) | Light Artillery | | | | | | HMG | Tank | | Belgian Belgium | | New Infantry (Trench) | | Level II (III) City | | German Belgium | | | HMG | Tank | | | | HMG (Trench) | Howitzer | Factory | | | | | New Infantry | Armored Car | | | | New Infantry (Trench) | | | | | | | Howitzer | | | | | New Infantry (Trench)
| Howitzer | | | | Level III (IV) City | | | | | | | HMG (Trench) | | |
| | Stable | | | | | | | New Infantry (Trench) | Light Artillery | | | | | | | | | | | New Infantry (Trench) | | | | | | | | | | | | HMG (Trench) | Light Artillery | | | | | |
This is a boring slogfest where you throw your forces at the enemy and concentrate fire on a point to infiltrate. Not very intellectually stimulating and feels too meh. This is what I want to see (example of a classic): | | Hunting Cavalry (2^) | | | | | | | | | | | Light Infantry (1^) | Breastplate Cavalry (5^) | Light Infantry (2^) | | Constructing a small fort | | | HMG (5^) | | Level II (IV) City* | | 4x Blast |
| Hunting Cavalry (1^) | Howitzer (2^) | | | | | |
|
| 150 gold | 400 gold | |
| | | |
|
| | New Infantry (5^) | | 100 industry | 300 industry | Light Artillery (1^) |
| |
| Armored Car (5^) | Howitzer (5^) # | Armored Car (5^) # | | | | 0 knowledge | 100 knowledge | Level III (V) City | Howitzer (3^) [Factory] | <------ these undemoralized guys will try to take this city either by the time you take one of the two rear cities or by turn 10 | Tank (5^) [gen w/ +25% atk, +25% def] | Tank (5^) | Level V City | Factory | | | |
| | Light Artillery (1^) |
| |
| Armored Car (5^) | Howitzer (5^) # | Armored Car (5^) # | | | | | | | | | | |
|
| | | | | | |
| | | | | | | New Infantry (5^) |
| | | | Hunting Cavalry (1^) | | | | | | | | | | | Light Infantry (1^) | Breastplate Cavalry (5^) | Light Infantry (2^)
| | Constructing a small fort | |
| HMG (5^) |
| Level I (IV) City* | | | | Hunting Cavalry (2^) | Howitzer (2^) | | | | | | | * taking these cities also spawns in orange enemy units | * taking these cities double demoralizes enemies with "#" |
This one is quite obvious. Overwhelm the flanks, take out the rear cities, and siege the level 5 city, while preventing them from breaking out. A realistic real life thing, too. These types of problems are rather fun to solve, as they require good tactics (troop maneuvering, attack selection, economic production selection) and are fast-paced. Like I said, the main issue with the current games are that there's barely any combat strategy or combat tactics needed. All it takes is brute force to win an EasyTech conquest. Alright, here's a proposal that sounds good: any troops that are in land that is completely cut off from allied land or isn't the capitol city's territory will suffer double demoralization for three turns. Likewise, troops in their own capitol's territory will have a boosted morale, and troops that cut off enemies territories will also have a one-turn morale boost. This means that there's a slight emphasis on tactics, even though morale levels doesn't do much. This probably takes less than three hours to add in (I could do this in Java, I reckon, in under four hours; it's just a bit of work with a hexagonal array[][] with an odd counting system

I know a game that suits you. Play Age of Empires 3 Asian Dynasties. It is played in PC. Not very big ( can't remember the size). It is a real time strategy game where you maneuver troops, build your economy and explore. You can play as UK, Spain, Portugese, Prussian, French, Ottoman, Russian, Chinese, Indian and Japanese. You can take revolutions where you can become Washington revolutionary US, Bolivar South America etc.
