I love snare drum especially when a troop has Massfire. I also love the war horse for taking strategic positions. I Also like the water hose item especially when fighting artillery and gunboats.

Geography is very important to me I use it in almost every strategy game I play, for example Wc3,Wc4 European war 4 and more. I also like Jolly Pixel games like Pixel Soldiers the great war. My perfect infantry general would have Economic Master, Assault art, Massfire, And Leadership. War horse and Snare Drum are without doubt THETWO most important items - hopefully your fist buy - but as long as you you don't have them geography and mass fire are obvious 'most valuable skill' - anyway nice setup: Economic Master, Assault art, Massfire, And Leadership 🤗 I sadly haven't play ew4 original in about a month. I love the mods of ew4, especially the Age of reasons and BJs mod. I just wish easytech can revist there hidden gems and add new features.

I just started this year and want to understand much more - for now I will play more vanilla EW4 before something else. If I could save my actual 'intermediate' I would start it again.

I don't want to be annoying - I am curious - I really appreciate your arguments and your wise consults! I think you do a really nice work here - for every actual and future player thank you Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus 🏅 No its definitely fine to argue about iaps as they cost 8$ each approximately. I personally think Davout is worth it even though he comes with some issues.

Mine would be bugle rather than econ master, you can simply strap on napoleonic code to lannes rather than getting washington. Although, if people buy washington over lannes, its probably not for that reason.

I am not sure how to feel about kutuzov. I think that at his best, he is oudinot with defense art, and when not attacking cities, he is cornplanter with defense art. But we already do get a fast infantry general with formation and nothing else (Maria) for free, so a slight upgrade is not that appreciated. On navy, he is a slightly better duckwood. When on cavarly and artillery, he is appreciable but not fantastic. And there will also be turns where none of his skills are active, especially on cavarly. He is a very weird general. Plus in comparison, Poniatowski will at least have geography and leadership as consistently dependable skills. Lannes is a better land focused hybrid as well.
Do you think I am too harsh, or is he barely better than Napoleon?

I would rather have Assault art on artillery, I have to say they are equals in the game, there needs to be a arena to see who will win 1v1. I would call it Army Arena.

Is it possible to S/L away the fire? Fireproof seems unecessary for an S/L lunatic to me.

Will he is killable because he died in 1813 but, in my opinion he is ("coalition Napoleon" ) and I would rather see Napoleon have Assault art instead of formation.

Its seems a huge pain to bother with s&l with defense art. I do agree though

I mean is Kutuzov bad, no. But he is still worse than Massena imo. Massena is a pretty respectable cavarly general.
