Or even Banner instead of War Expert π₯ π€ It is just hard to find the +4 and +6 banner. Very nice and handy your ranking became! Thank you! Great Work Friedrich βFried Riceβ Paulusπ+4 and +6 flags don't exist. I know, for this reason Banner is not a great skill. With the existence of +4 banners it would be already very different - and Dessaix with banner could be the best, (after Sakurako).

Great Work Friedrich βFried Riceβ Paulus π+4 and +6 flags don't exist. The flag is almost usless, they cost around 500-900 metals and only add 1-2 damage, defense and etc. (Remembers +10 and +20 flags in mods)

With the existence of +4 banners it would be already very different - and Dessaix with banner could be the best, (after Sakurako). I think easytech was afraid of this skill being way too OP since it can deal an extra 20 damage, give every surrounding ally an extra defense and healing equipment in an extreme scenario (that will be as stressful as s/l). Turned out they were being too cautious and thus the EW5 and EW6 aura.

Yup. But I feel like +4 might be too op for attack flag since you can at most influence 10 units that attacks the same target (that is one very, very extreme scenario).

Having two tiers of +2 and +4 would have been worth it as is the banner skill is useless. Delroy has the dragon flag in HRE 1798 but it doesn't make any difference.

I feel as though the best starting generals are: Diez, Kutaisov, and Arnold. Then, after recieving sophia, Scharnhorst and Sulkowski are the way to go.
Imo the quality gap between Diez and Dumuoriez is not all that massive, as Diez loses surprise and an extra cavarly star, but gets an extra movement star making him have 4 hex movement on heavy cavarly. Heavy cavarly will be until armored cars the most reliable unit usable as it is relatively cheap, available in most missions, and has good hp. And since diez is a movement trainer, he is free whereas dumuoriez is 200 medals more than Agha. Once you get Sophia, regroup diez into her and you have an artillery general capable of moving 3 hexes early on, and you can save the other oak wheel for schaenhorst.
Kutaisov is honestly a beast. He is essentially sophia without spy. Heβll be pretty reliable early on, and then can be regrouped into sophia once you get her. You will need him anyway, so there is no reason whatsover not to purchase him at the start.
Lastly, arnold. With arnold, you can rent cheap items and then resell them at the same price. You can also sell the golden stars which will give you an additional 20 medals per mission. He is also a very good trade general as he has 5 stars and will easily jump start your economy early on in missions, resulting in you being able to spam infantry guards early on.
After receiving Sophia, I would then recommend getting Scharnhorst or Kutaisov, and then Sulkowski. Imo Scharnhorst will be a much smoother pick as for the HRE 1798 run needs someone fast on the turkish front, and schanhorst is easily one of the best options to help lusignan as he has accurate and will be able to move 3 hexes with an oak wheel. Sulkowski is also fantastic as youβll get a horse grenadier guard unit early on in the HRE 1798 run (if you use Archduke Charles to trade industry and food for gold). Once you get Isabella, the rest is history. My recommendation is to then regroup arnold into isabella as sheβll have 4 trade stars after, and a 5th can be added with jerome.
Afterwards, get Sakurako, regroup Sulkowski into Sakurako and get Sakurako to 5 star cavarly and infantry (and maybe 5 stars trade too). Sakurako will have above average output thanks to strike, good survivability thanks to the amazing 4 training stars, and stellar movement at 4 hexes on all units). Then get Lan and you can beat the game. Lan will still be pretty good, just a tad bit slow due to her 3 star starting movement. But sheβll still nuke everything at 3 cavarly stars only.
If you need a lamborgini cavarly, you have Sakurako. If you need a good intantry general, Sakurako is a fantastic option, and you can also use Sophia and Lan for that option as well, as both can be pretty solid infantry hybrids.

And also, if Sakurako is given a snair drum and the before mentioned upgrades, consider her Suvorov/Victoria on infantry

The perfect starting group !Playing the first 10-15 no general missions to find and buy these three and the warhorse - and then, pick up the princess. They are so perfect for the conquest (specially HRE) that it's worth a try to get all princess with less than 100β ... and not one wasted medal - perfect! You got it

and then there is Rowland. Where ? And Ferdinandol needs an review for his outstanding quality. If you just look just at the price-tag he is the best! His price was the reason I choose him.

He's a good trainer General for forts but I wouldn't keep him. If you wanted a fort General I would get Alexander If you had enough Shields.

This is Vanilla EW4 - a Fort general?ΒΏ?ΒΏ Darth Vader you know how much I enjoy the forts in your Grande Arme Mod - they can be a challenge and the AI plays them really good.I know there somewhere two generals 5-10π cheaper - just disgusting

Thank you, I searched before and he is really the cheapest general, with an, at least theoretical, usage. european-war-4.boards.net/thread/195/summary-general-dataJust earning rice for Lan by upleveling, was his unique use for me. Thanks to him (or anyone else) I finally got her.
