Ok. I know the last war just ended but im already ready for the next one. I have gotten permission and i have been allowed to become referee in it!!!
This is going to be different from other wars. The basics will be the same like dice warfare but there are going to some big changes. First off: 1. This is based in the Medieval Ages. Yup. There goes to any chances of somebody using nukes on another person. Then instead of all the previous wars there will not just be 2 alliances, or teams but 4. Yes, that may sound daunting but trust me its not. Here are the list of the alliances and nations each with their own strengths and weakness. There are about 14 factions to choose from.
Holy Catholic Entente (HEC): 3.3/5 FULL
France 3/5 stars (King Bismarck) Religion: Catholicism
Holy Roman Empire (Emperor Best 75) 5/5 stars Catholicism
Livonia 3/5 stars (King Oskars Kaplas) Catholicism
Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth 2/5 stars (Lord Oskars Kaplas) Secularist
Anglo-Spanish and Scandinavian Union (ASU): 3/5
England (King Guerdian) (Not the UK or GB) 3/5 stars Catholicism
Spain 4/5 stars Catholicism
Scandinavian Empire ( Chief Netherfreek) 2/5 stars Catholicism
Islamic Caliphate (ILC): 3.6/5 stars FULL
Moors 5/5 stars (Lord Jean Lannes) Islam
Turks 4/5 stars (Sultan Moreau) Islam
Arabs 2/5 stars (Khalifa Kurram)Islam
Eastern Imperial Order (EIO): 3/5
Tsardom of Moscow 4/5 stars (Tsar Mountbatten) Secularist
Hungary 3/5 stars (King Sherman) Greek Orthodox
Empire of Khwarizmi Shar 2/5 stars (Emperor Mountbatten) Islam
Byzantine Empire 2/5 stars (Emperor Tarreyland) Greek orthodox
Other Nations:
Papal States 1/5 stars
Holy State of Mecca 1/5 stars
Patriarchy of the Greek Orthodox 1/5 stars
Neutrals:
Principal state of Georgia
Kingdom of Chernigov
Beni Sulyam
Ireland
Portugal
This Theo war will only be in Europe and North Africa.
Rules:
Rule #1:Peace Negotations and team chats are from now on the only things done in private.
Rule #2:Once your side all have taken a turn, then you must wait for the rest of the other team to take a turn.
Rule #3:No ridiculous stuff like taking the capital in one turn unless it's a non belligerent nation.
Rule #4:Historically accurate.
Rule #5:1 day is a phase
Rule #6:No Tech Jumping (Need to explain how you got advanced technology over multiple turns).
Rule #7:Peace Negotiations must include everyone involved in the war. No separate peace with individual nations unless a regime change takes place.
Rule #8:There must be a declaration of war on a nation before you attack them.
Rule #9:You must talk to your Allies in team chat and inform them of the current situation and what you're going to do.
Rule #10:All peace Negotations must be in private.
Rule #11:You cannot overrun a belligerent nation in less than three turns.
Rule #12:Rolling of Dice must be used to determine the outcome of battles.
Rule #13:No military actions until the war has begun INCLUDING military actions against non-belligerents.
Rule #14:Tech research must follow the Tech tree provided.
Rule #15: You can not attack your religous hub
Rule #16: Transport boats are used to move across little distances and are not counted as boats. For example, from Sweden to Denmark. Or Morrocco to Spain. Or Antolia to Patriarch.
This war is different men....... and women. Here is how:
1. More action. You can attack all the other alliances but not any of the "other" factions.
2. The "other factions are non-playable
3. Population. An army is 10,000. In the second cold war rp, i remember at one stage Greece had about 20 armies and i had maybe 30. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Italy's army is 100,000 right now and its one of the biggest ever in Italian history. 40 years ago had could it realistically had 300,000 troops!? Thats why, my map is important. Each territory gives you 10 more unit space so if your England you can have an army of like 40, thats impossible.
4. There are 2 unit types, swordsmen, worth 1 space, and cavalry worth 2 space. Ships have no limit however.
5. There is no limit how much tech can be researched in one phase.
6. Here is the big one: Religion
Now this may be weird to have it but this is important so read carefully: You have to be follow everything your religious leader commands unless your a secularist. There will be events each phase with the pope, or who ever asking you to do something for them. If you do it, you gain favor, if you dont you lose it. Its out of 10, once you reach 0, a crusade will be called upon you or a jihad and you start at 5. Nations of the religion will then be told to come and kill you. A crusade and jihad may be called upon you randomly by another religons leader. It can happen once every 15 phases to somebody.
7. Coups: The procces of embarrassment is the same but the end result is different. Even a successful coup will not end up with them joining you. Another dice will be thrown, by me to decide what happens. Either, they join you, be nothing happens, the nation becomes hostile you still even after the coup and there is also the possibilty of them all breaking into splinter states each with their own ideas.
8. Rebels: Once you unlock the tech you can also instigate rebellions in random countries to cause chaos. They will probably not be succesful but who knows.
9. Events: Diseases may sprout up, due to diseases you will lose your ability to produce troops for the whole phase. You can save yourself from them by unlocking Social Development. Then here is another event, uprisings can sprout up randomly even without someone instigating them. The final event beside real life events will be raiders. Either the mongols, the persians or the Tamurials will come and bring hell upon you so watch out eastern cities. However they will only come every 20 phases.
10. The Tempered Steel and other techs like that make your base go higher from 7, which is the base number.
11. Propoganda not only allows you to embrass other nations but allows you to stabilize yourself.
You can only make armistices and what not with factions your of your own religion or if their secularist. But, here is the big thing that you reminded me about. If one of the religious centers fall, like the papal states, or Mecca, then all nations of that religion will become tier 1 embarrassment until the state is taken back. However, you can also just convert your nation to another religion once that happens but you can only convert once. And now i just realized that i am yet to say the tiers of embarrassment. Here they are:
Tier 1: 6 embarrassments required: England: Why: Scots and Irish hate them. Byzantine: Why: Weak leadership, crumbling empire very diverse community. Arabs: Very weak leadership
Tier 2: 10 embarrassments required: Spain: Why: They are afraid of Islamic influence and united Spain is still quite new Poland: They are uneasy because of tsardom expansion and have many different ethineticities Hungary: The magyars are relatively weak compared to their bordering nations and are quite unstable politically Livonia: Have been under many crusades lately and are under great pressure from other powers.
Tier 3: 13 embarrassments required: France: Why: They are stable due to single communities, strong leadership and religion Turks: Why: Rising power and very ambitious Tsardom: They are new power but are quickly taking the east by storm Scandinavia: The Nordic people have strong values and are united together
Tier 4: 16 embarrassments required: HRE: Why: They are united by their religonand ambition Moors: Same as HRE
Neutrals: Need 8 embarrassments
But do you need to border a nation of that religion you're going to convert to? So England can't just convert to Islam because she doesn't border an islamic country, and the Arabs can't become catholics for the same reason?
England can do nothing if its stays as an island. But others can. HRE could become secularist or greek orthodox. Byzantine could become Islamic. The arabs cant do anything. Note: For Secularist nations, they can convert at any time.
