I need help with editing images (General portraits and icons) of Ew4. I had the idea to change the background of the general to there respective country flag. I'm terrible with gimp so I would appreciate any help. It's Fairly simple to use Gimp. All you need to do is make the photo smaller or the same size as the portrait. You take a image that you like and delete the old Generals portrait and replace it with yours.Β What are the dimensions of the portrait? |

You just need the image to be the size of the Generals head or smaller. If you image isn't working you can Edit the XML files. |

I made previous images the same size or smaller and they always turned out too small. The image I tried this time is larger than other generals, and it's an almost perfect fit. I think my head is 250x250, which is a perfect fit. I still need to adjust the general photo. I'm also having issues with a general being the right size but his head covering up the nameplate at the top. Does that mean I need more space above the head? Or maybe crop a little off the bottom? |

Umm i downloaded unlocked apk for ew4 from here and when i try to open it w apk editor it says: Error unpacking apk and when i click there it says
java: Process failed to start: The system cannot find the file specified.
help?

What device are you using? This isn't the page where you download Unlocked Apks. Also, Apk Editor is nothing compared to MT Manger. |

In EW4 there are no json files. The def_*.xml files are modificabile. Have a look at them first. When you save a modification MT askes you, if you want to sign the apk - that was it |

Your welcome. This should work. I have no Idea what can be the problem, but: Save your game and restart EW4 - some bugs are gone like this. For deeper help you have to ask thegreatestace direct. I just know the basics. |

I just know the basics. I am not a big fan of map editing for the complexity it is to just add a few units. I am glad that so many people can create excellent maps. I plan to get back into modding production soon, I plan to create the EW4 Star Wars Mod. It was the original plan of the Modders that will be created using Wc3 elements. If anyone would like to create the maps or the planets feel free too ask me. |
