He's a European war 4 modder, bruh Maybe the mod looks like EW6, but thats right - I mod only with the EW4 engine. For this reason I can't answer the question, but I'm corious to read the how-to. Thanks and if you modder of ew4 maybe you can change the number of general in conquest mode and how ? I'm just beginner and this one problem I want to know the answer. And what about the conquest1.btl it is contain the setting of general number ?, Sorry for my english.

What Is The Easiest ET Game To Mod?? Need To Start From Somewhere Easy Before I Can Practice Creating A Actuall Mod Most guides are wc4 tho. Try changing generals price, generals stars, units cost and images etc. I made Zhang Z.Z. 1 medal cost XD

Yes, most likely it will be in the camp section of conquest1.btl file like in EW4, butI can't read EW6 .btl files, they are coded different. So mwheehehehe, I am sorry, I have no idea where to patch. Search here on the board for the file-structure or an ew6-modding guide. You may ask Darth Vader and Arthur Currie, they are much more competent than me, maybe they can help you to find the knowledge you need. Or test it out by youself: - if the original number is 6 for example, search search the value in conquest1.btl - if you find the first 06 00 00 00 - change it to 05 00 00 00 Test your mod - if your mod don't crash and you can place only 5 generals you found the byte position - now you can start to see what happens if you change the number to 7,8.... If your mod crashes, take the original and try what happens if you change the next 06 and so on.... I wish you much success for your modding

I know how to create more general slots but, have never tried expanding the number of Generals. Maybe you could find a mod that has no limit and include it in your mod. As long as you name which file and the author you use.
If any other Modders have these problems, I request you try other mods and see their strengths and weaknesses. This is what I did and it works very well!

Each countries can have a different number of generals they can deploy, just find the last digit of a Country block (312 Bytes).

hi how do i create a new conquest in wc4? well, more like how do i duplicate an already existing conquest since i only want to change the alliances of a country, i just want 2 versions of the same conquest where one country is on the other side.

I... believe that if you copy-paste a conquest file and change its name it should work (eg. if you want two 1939 conquests then copy-paste conquest1.btl, delete conquest2.btl and just rename your copy to conquest2.btl). Although I'm not entirely sure if that's how it works.

Although I'm not entirely sure if that's how it works. but this will replace the 1943 conquest right? i kinda want to add a new conquest that's just a duplicate of a previous conquest with countries changing sides, but without deleting already existing conquests i actually have already copy pasted the btl file and edited the json file with the country's seats, and also added strings that recognize the new conquest (like in the stringtable files) but it seems like it ruins all other conquests (when you select a country in any conquest, it shows the uk flag with "countryname" as it's name then the game crashes when i start the conquest)
