which of them would be of best use in 1975? is there a place for any of them really? Honestly, in all my runs of WC3 all of which I quit at UN, I throw navy stars onto my ECs to make them substitute Navy gens.

Only the generals that are good at artillery or have urban fighting on tanks are good at that age. Out of all of these, id say only donitz will help out much as he can travel fast.

Direct confrontation is usually suicidal. That's why I shared my replacement for navy gens.

gonna eat my own words.
HQ level 92 atm; missions at this level potentially give 4000-4800 industry, plus 1000-2000 energy or science, every 20-45 minutes (56-126 days in-game time; time reduced by wonders). having strong navy researchers helps a lot.
also, fighting aliens one conquest/day, or trying. fav nations so far Egypt and Japan. while I have good opening (i think) for Japan, not yet sure where to expand first; for now I go for Manchuria than south China, then Indochina. while land troops are doing that, Yamamoto defends homeland vs waves coming from Cuba/Bogota and Australia/islands.

Nagano for Price/Performance Ratio. Same reason to get him as to get Valutin, Gororov, Auchinleck, Crerar, or Ozawa. Or any good cheap general for that matter.

Interesting that in wc4 many people get Kuznetsov before getting Nimitz. In wc3 things work pretty differently.

Voted for Nagano, he has 280 health, really good choice, and not so expensive like Nimitz
