Does anyone remember the Revenge of the sith screen when those red guards were taken down with ease. They are worse then the b1 battle droids.

Does anyone remember the Revenge of the sith screen when those red guards were taken down with ease. They are worse then the b1 battle droids. That fight was terribly choreographed lol. Shadiversity, who's a sword-fighting pro, did a frame-by-frame analysis of it. Here's the link, if you want to see some parts, but it's really long. Also, there's like never any flanking strategies in Star Wars. From the Battle of Naboo to whatever Exegol was, every battle has been head-on tilts. The only in-movie sneak attack that was actually purely a sneak attack was the Battle of Coruscant, which is actually one of the best space battles in cinema history. A shame only about 30 minutes of its 5-day length was shown.

Does anyone remember the stormtrooper from the new hope. At the beginning they crushed the rebals. The only reason they didn't kill Luke and the others because it would not look pleasing to the Audience.

Actually, if I remember correctly, Darth Vader... you, wanted to track them to their base, since ... you ... didn't know where it was yet. So you basically did a 200IQ convoluted plan to let them escape. It could also be plot armour, yes.

I mean, he was like 900 years old, plus he fell 100 feet, so I wouldn't fight someone if I just fell 100 feet.

I’ve noticed that at the beginning of both TFA and ANH, the bad guys absolutely decimated the rebels or the like, as a show of force, but as the movie goes on, they get progressively worse.

Yes, who knew a whole legion of stormtroopers got decimated by a bunch of teddy bears in the Return of the Jedi.

Yes, who knew a whole legion of stormtroopers got decimated by a bunch of teddy bears in the Return of the Jedi. Well... considering how the US did in the Vietnam War and how the USSR did in the Winter War, I'd say the demise of the stormtroopers in RoTJ is... mildly understandable. I'd give it a one out of ten in terms of realism, since there's no way Ewoks should be able to penetrate hybrid metal armour with wooden spears, but Guerrilla warfare works a lot better in practice than on paper. In TFA, I literally don't get what the First Order's trying to do. They destroyed the senate, but it's not like they wanted to replace it with their own government or anything. They're literally just terrorists. Even in the first scene the stormtroopers actually get held back pretty well by a bunch of villagers. Rey, the untrained scavenger, beats a Sith Lord. The First Order literally leaves their Death Star XL unguarded, and lets it get destroyed by a squadron of 20 x-wings. The amount of egregious plot holes has led me to actually start rewriting The Last Jedi lol. I even made a google docs. Zero out of ten.

Because if you haven't I don't want to spoil it. It's level of a good movie is about a 6-7.
