which medals should i be using for each general (artillery, cav, inf, navy etc) Depends on the skills you give them. For instance I gave jungle fighting to Jackson, Mountain fighting to boroevic, Cav commander to moltke, inf commander to straussenberg, art commander to hindenburg and tactics master/plain fighting to beseler. |

if a general's skill is maxed and you put a medal on, does the medal still increase the level of the skill? e.g. if you have jungle skill maxed and you put +1 jungle item, does that increase the level/effect?

i never played 1804, is it worth playing or is it basically the same as 1914 but different generals and missions? i played ew4 so if its similar to that idk if its worth the time

i never played 1804, is it worth playing or is it basically the same as 1914 but different generals and missions? i played ew4 so if its similar to that idk if its worth the time Based on what I know since I never played 1804 too, it is much tougher with less generals to use (maximum of 6 in your HQ), and it takes much longer to finish the game (more than 6 months as compared to 2 for 1914) Map graphics and unit design is almost identical to 1914, just that HQ looks different. Most things remain the same. |

european war 4 is probably harder because you can only have 4 generals if i remember correctly and it took a long time grinding them, the best generals are princesses and getting them is pretty hard. anyway pretty sure 1804 is the same as ew4 in terms of generals and graphics

european war 4 is probably harder because you can only have 4 generals if i remember correctly and it took a long time grinding them, the best generals are princesses and getting them is pretty hard. anyway pretty sure 1804 is the same as ew4 in terms of generals and graphics ew4 graphics are unnerving (without even mentioning ew5 haha). Glad they made improvements to map graphics. EW6 seems slightly easier then ew4 I guess, where 1914 is a playground compared to its nasty predecessors |

ew4 is just time consuming, that's what made it hard i guess. i only started playing 1914 a week ago and i already got all the best generals, all the best items, near max tech, finished all normal conquests, on campaign 8, did all campaign challenges 1-4. it will prob take me another week to finish all campaigns + campaign challenges. doing the challenge conquest is going to be a pain tho. will attempt once i maxed all generals + tech.

Mostly because some strategies and tactics are consistent throughout ET strategy games, and ive already trained for 2 years grinding through wc4 |

never played wc3 or wc4, idk how fun/hard they are. do u recommend them? if its the same as 1914 i won't bother tbh

Game mechanics are heavily modernized, and its easier and harder to play in different aspects. I would recommend jumping into wc4 straight away since both versions require years of grinding |

do you have the navy commander medal from ottoman campaign challenge? that seems like the best medal for hipper. navy commander is so op because it boosts damage of all nearby ships (2 grids) which is huge.

Haha I got navy commander for Beatty instead; I have gunsight master on Hipper to boost his damage, especially if im using both Beatty and Hipper together in close proximity |

does that gunsight master medal work if hipper doesn't have gunsight master? my hipper has rage and i replaced inspiration with alert. you think i should replace rage with gunsight master so i can put my gunsight master medal on him
