Take Dietz instead of Duomierez! You want Dietz anyway and he's the better cavalry general for less medals. (Read Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus) And The perfect lineup exists. Diez sure is useful, but I’d prefer to rock Dumouriez all the way until I can get my hands on Lan, which the former can’t do. I mean nothing is stopping you from doing that as Dumuoriez will probably be equipped with a snair drum. Still though, not buying diez very early on imo is a mistake, as if you get Sophia and Scharnhorst, you can have two 3 hex moving artillery generals, sophia with diez regroupment and scharnhorst with oak wheel. But if you can confidently drag dumouriez out as far as Lan, go for it! |

Though, they are still weak to calvery which is sometimes referred to the best unit in the game. |
