Belgium 1914 challenge conquest

Taking Portugal is ok because they didn t try to take it back so you have safe place and income

Hmm ok so try to defeat Germany, when spam comes go to portugal (weak gen), Norway (strong gens) and Russia, which would lure enemy gens into Scandinavian seas for you to defeat them easily, and for you to open up a front in Russia. Interesting

200 turns is so long tho, is there any way to speed it up? i'm just going to spam medkits to keep my generals alive. i will attempt it tomorrow, i havn't played ew6 in a while because of this stupid conquest

i finally managed to do it, i'm on turn 40 right now and i took out germany, austria, italy, half of turkey, just north africa to go. i will send screenshots of the map later when i've finished it. i used like 40 medkits but its worth it tbh, i don't need medkits for other conquests and i can get more from achievements.

there is no point writing a detailed guide for this conquest because you will spend lots of medkits and fail most of the time the way i did it, even though i don't see any other way of doing it quickly. it took me over 60 attempts and i got very lucky this time round because russia and italy managed to hold their cities. you can see from the screenshots i just rushed germany using 4 artillery generals (ivanov, hindenburg, leopold and beseler), once i got the majority of their cities, i started building cav units and infantry to defend my cities from austrians. i spent most of my medkits here. i wanted to rush and take more cities but i couldn't because the enemy will keep spawning new generals so i just stayed in north austria to kill off enemy units. eventually enemy spam will be less and your allies will be able to help you a bit. once i took italy, i spammed ships to kill the tribal union units at sea. i took my cav gens to turkey and used air bombardments to take cities.

the thing i always did in the first few turns is to bribe in the french, put arty general on starting arty unit and move him back to the forest, build new arty unit + put general, build fort 1 hex south of the germany cav general (below), move the infantry general above the enemy cav gen. on turn 2 and 3, i used arty + fort + inf to clear the enemy cav gen. i left the city undefended for 1 turn then i moved my inf general back to the city to defend. i took out ludendorf quickly then i rushed to take the german cities. remember that if your generals have jungle and mountain fighting, they can move 4 spaces (if river is not in the way) so study the nearby terrain a bit before you move. when you take a city, make sure you don't move too close to it otherwise they might spawn a new unit. its easy to take a city if its undefended, just make sure you move your artillery generals together so they can hit the city and take it out in 1 turn + have 1 unit to capture. at the beginning, you don't have enough units to do this but the french use their turn before the germans, so if you can completely destroy a city, the french can take it for you and you can take it from them.

did you use any princesses? 

yea but they were used near the end, i didn't benefit much from them because most cities don't have a palace - need to build one and your economy is trash. you will pretty much spend all your resources on milita to defend cities
