Good day! I have recently been trying to create a unlock Apk for GCR and all the data files have been encrypted with "text code". I understand why it was added to prevent hackers but, now it's impossible to mod new games.
If you don't know what text code is it's basically trying to mod this:

Or is it because there are symbols that are unregistered in different OSes so some of them have those ? symbols?

Or is it because there are symbols that are unregistered in different OSes so some of them have those ? symbols? Actually no, I checked in WC4 Store version it doesn't have symbols. Those symbols are code that can't be translated and are extremely effective. |

Are those the same things that show up when you open .btl files on a non-Hex editor? Yes, they are now in the data files. You can't edit ANYTHING! Not even Strings, Amry, Generals, Strategy; Nothing. |

Exactly 1 Year after the Game is released. They can't be edited now due to Encryption but I believe we will have to transfer parts of a new game to a old one. Like how a GCR WC4 was being made. |

Nobunaga Oda and Darth Nihilus, I hope easytech doesn't encrypt their update for Ew5. It would be a quite terrible for modding and maybe bring a end to it.

IMO, for EW5 specifically, the reception for the original game is not as good, so modding a less popular game may not be worth as much. Moreover, some of the negative opinions do stem from stuff outside of gameplay like the designs. The update may revive interest in it, but I'm not sure if this will draw a crowd. Why not work on more popular games? And if an Unlock APK is released after some time, is it possible for modders to wait until then? Disclaimer: I'm not very interested or well-versed with game mods. |

I just don't want moding to end, easytech had already received a heavy blow due to Some unlock apks were dined access by their creators. |

I am starting to believe that the fixing ads event also was used to create the Encryption. Because at the beginning of the year Wc3 and 4 were open. I also did some checking of unlock apks, your safe! |
