Only one subforum for ACE, it's going to burst at its seams at some point. Somebody going to set up some separate subforums to help sort all of it out? From what I see in this particular subforum... Right now, it's like watching ADHD kids hyper and high on 3 foot sticks of Pix Stix twitching while putting together a jumble of blocks to create the leaning tower of Pisa. |

OT: Give me artillery barrage yay! So then how do we get all of these generals? Can we earn them in the game? OOT: It's a new game,and we have been waiting for it for a while now so it's like a shark feeding frenzy And yes only 1 ACE board for now until the game matures and we have a strong enough player information base to merit additional boards. We did the same with EW4 and WC3 categories,when players posted several guides and walk-throughs then boards got added to the categories. Eventually with enough content we will get the standard boards format: 1-General game information board. 2-Specific campaigns and missions board. 3-Specific game mechanic and data board. |

saltin, you gain these generals as a result of defeating them in the campaigns. For example, Phoenix is commander of the African Campaign,. Once you defeat all the missions in the African Campaign, Phoenix becomes a general of yours. You can't buy generals, whether through typical means or IAP, which does suck.

Are cards important in the game? Maybe the general board (from gog2) would br replaced with a cards board, if gens arent importantent. Or maybe a particles/upgrades board.
Or just 2 boards, the european war 4 section has 3 boards, the world conqueror 3 section has 3 boards, the general board section has 3 boards. and this one already got 2 boards. If we only put one extra board. The gog section has 3 boards, like the rest of the forum. Possible boards would be campaign/mission and game data/questions.
(Of coursr this isnt my desiscion bit from the mods)

Well that's a good part if we can earn all of the generals without having to spend money.
The final boards format will be decided when the rest of us actually get the game.

Generals are still important in this game. Their abilities can be very effective if you know when and how to use them and they can be upgraded to make them better. Other than getting buff for a few rounds from their skills (as I see in the descriptions), can we do other thing with them? I remember you mention in another thread that they cannot be assigned to any unit. |
