Is it possible to do 1k damage to a unit in the vanilla game? Does crowd tactics add to the damage that is not amplified? Does this sound confusing?

Okay, so potentially 6 crowd tactics gens, 1 providing a +30 boost and the others a mere +20? That’s a total of +130 damage added to one unit.

Okay, so to recap. Yamashita, all skills lvl 5, explosives, inf leader, raider, and I guess Bayonet charge and ace for slices, though they likely won’t help here Max infantry tech Australian commando unit used here, on a forest tile for the damage boost (75%, I believe) and using a mortar (for the 70% anti city boost). This unit is at max rank, with high moral 5 crowd tactics generals on each of the 5 available sides of Yamashitas commando unit, each with lvl 5 crowd tactics, one with the medal. Soooooooo... Yamashita attacks the city (since bunkers have a defense stat and cities don’t, he will be able to do more damage theoretically to the city). He gets an attack boost from the CT gens, doing a additional 110 damage. He also get the explosives bonus, +30%. He gets the raider bonus (with medal), +48%. Finally, he gets a critical hit with inf leader, doing too much damage. In all likelihood, he could probably take out a capital city in a single hit.

I’m not sure if the crowd tactics bonus comes before or after the percentage based boosts are taken into effect, which could significantly increase the damage if CT goes into effect before the percentage boosts.

So, assuming commandoes do on average 45 damage on plains, calculating multipliers first would give 500-ish damage, and additives first would give about 1800 damage

So is anyone testing it out? What kind of person's gonna buy and max Yamashita, and then spend 6000 medals getting level 5 crowd tactics five times?

Go on to the GPW Mod version 1.1. There, I saw that my Guderian can do over 1k damage to an infantry. You have 13,100 medals for completing the tutorials, so try it out there.

I'm pretty sure GPW mod has unit modifications. Not for version 1.1. sir. In version 1.1, the only unit modifications is for arty which it can do more damage to stronghold units. The infantry units aren't changed but you can stack commandos to four.
