The main purpose of Legend mode is to get Artifacts (until now we can get 2 weapons in 1st and 4th stages after 1st finish time) and Holy relic to upgrade them.
And these are some of my notice when playing this mode (I use same team for every battle in Legend mode).
-Team: The mixture team is better than pure team because enemies have vary damage deal buff (not damage increase buff) may cause annoying problem for you. We should get 1 healer and 1 armor buff for better surviving. My team: Caesar, Blucher, Khan, Washington, Napoleon, Li Shimin.
- Buff: after 1st time playing, you will know the class of boss unit, so if you meet the damage deal buff to same type of boss unit, chose it. Otherwise, chose the HP& damage increase buff for your tankers or your damage dealer, both are ok.
- The path: First, some explaination about the icons in Legend mode map and what's they give you:
Yellow single sword: normal battle, gives you blue coin.
Orange double swords: hard battle with miniboss, give you blue coin (1.5x normal battle)
Blue temple: gives you buff
Green box : give you resources chose 1 of 2 (including holy relic - best choice but very low rate)
Purple ?: random, 1 of 4 above.
Orange viking horn cap: boss battle, gives you medals and resources (1 of 2 is holy relic).
As I said, my main purpose for doing Legend mode is farming Holy relic - Get it directly in shop or collect blue coins as many as possible in 1 time playing. So this is how I farm Holy relic (I play the 4th stage).
1. Choose the route with as many green box as possible, if you lucky enough you will get 2 holy relics which cost 120 blue coin # 3 boss battle.
2. Choose the route with as many purple ? as possible because it may be give you resources also.
3. Choose the route with that give you most blue coin as possible (number of hard battle x 1.5 + number of normal battle = x, max "x" is the best).
If you don't have much time to use save load, use 3. If you have time, save before you play legend mode, start the legend mode, use all 3 rule (1 is most priority and 3 is the last priority), if you don't get Holy relic in that turn, load and replay until you get at least 2 holy relics (except boss battle).
