The effect is passive. But the best artifact until now is this. Khan with this item can be a star in pure cav team (perfect pure team with all kinds of buff combine with fastest rage increase speed) How did you obtain it? Cash shop where you buy medals.

Can you change what's behind the purple ? by using save/load?
I haven't tried s/l yet but want Mystletainn and that may give me the chance to get it, if it works.

After you enter the scenario (which cost 1 free turn or 100 medals), all icons properties are fixed. S/L before you enter or you can choose the best way in current scenario with the save after you enter it. Your purpose is try to get the best buffs before facing Loki? If my guess is right, choose the highest lane which give you 2 blue and 2 purple, it is the best lane, the purple often is shop or battle.

Try my favorite way on the right My team is still not powerful enough to face the boss without buffs. So, if I get buff in the first city, I'm in the game... If I get something else instead I use save/load.

Nailed it first time! The save load didn't really work out as it was OK the first couple of times but about the third attempt at load I got a 20 minute timer before I could try again so I just went for it anyway. I used 4 reserve teams in full kit on the final boss level just to kill the 2 wolves and 1 archer before sending in the A team to finish the job but it was enough, just I've got Barb at level 50, Richard 49, Caesar 41 and everyone else 4 stars or less.

It is definitely a step forward in comparison to all previous stages, but it requires too many micromanagement actions to win it with certainty, so, I confess, I choose an easy chapter 1 at times...

Yeah, I can't go through that 6 times a day! You might want to try trial 2 though; I can defeat it consistently now without swapping kit and regardless of which boss, and you get 2 literature each run.

Can I just say that I absolutely hate the Loki fight? I mean he’s given RUMOR! Why is he given rumor? It just forces you to reset if he gets lucky in the early turns. And all of his minions have luck-based debuffs.
I know this isn’t unique to just him. Lots of missions have tons of rumor generals where you can’t do much about them other than eating the hit and then hoping for the best. But I have to deal with that 3 or 6 times per day and it’s so frustrating having to reset because he gets lucky.
Frankly, I just really dislike rumor in this game. Getting stunned is extremely debilitating in ET games, but atleast you have to go out of your way to stun an enemy, and you can almost always prevent that from happening to you. In EW4 you need to use cavalry and flank or starve the enemy. In WC4/GCR you need to use rumor properly. In EW5 you just need to get lucky. Plus there is almost no good way of dealing with rumor in this game. Only 2 generals in the entire game has rumor immunity.

In one of them Bismarck is sitting behind thick walls and just bombard us with rumour. It triggered probably 80 percent of the time, as I recall...

There is a trick that you can load data anytime you want, and it only work in EW5
