Hello everyone. I am here to talk about spam in WC4. For all the players who have reached 1943 and played as the Allies in the Vanilla version, you saw taht the Balkan nations spammed like there's no tomorrow, right? jamesyang, why did Easy Tech programmed that the smaller nations spam so much? I know it makes the game interesting and a bit challenging and all but why? Why the spam? Question 2: What unit would you spam for an entire conquest. It has to be the only unit you spam for the entire conquest. What would it be?  ? It has to be the ex-machina for all the situations. Question 3: Does anybody think that the AI spam from 1943 and the spam from 1950 combined together(spam from all the countries)into one big spam ball can crush the terrorists and all the UN nations in 1980? Question 4: What is the best way to chew through spam? Even though I have pretty good gens, it is still pretty hard. This should be for players that haven't reached 1980. Question 5: What is your worst kind of spam? |

Q2: Probably motorised inf. Anti-tank properties and being a speedster is key to winning if you can hit the enemy's rear.
Q3: If you throw a Guderian like gen in the midst of such a spam, he can mop the floor easily with inf. Once the arty and tanks start coming, there's quite a bit of difficulty.
Given that a Terrorist gen is approximately or even more superior than Guderian in terms of stats, the outcome should be quite similar.
Q5: Not sure if I posted it in my 1943 Japan walk-through (by a noob for newbies), I used forts to hold the ground. You should also use the "missile blitz" strategy to quickly knock out enemy stats to cut down the spam count. This helps because the surrendering nation's troops will automatically be removed.

Q4: Best way to deal with spam. Get OP generals, let them get close to your cities, then missile and fort them to death. Enemy spam in this game is just wave building upon wave. Once you deal with the initial spam the rest isn't too bad.
Q2: If my income's stable, I spam single heavy tanks. They can deal with infantry, can defend, and if need be I can pop a general on it.

Question 4: build 10 anti matter bombs, get Arnold on a level 2 missile silo FAR away, and start dropping op nukes with really good AoE damage. Or, build bunkers and drop Rommel or guderian in a city. But I like the first one better.
Question 2: Super rockets. They are really good, and though they may die fast, if I can spam them, the enemy is kinda ded.
Question 3: the spam in the Balkans alone could do that
Question 5: anything involving tanks in the 50’s, because they. Won’t. Fricking. Die.

If you wanna see spam, like really spam spam, play 1950 as any european country. At least this is more manageable than a titan tank, rocket gunboat and self-propelled howitzer spam in 1980. I actually thought the 1980 conquest, when managed properly, is slightly easier than 1950 |

Often times my allies just takes my port after Germany takes my city. |

My strategy is to steal every port from the channel to the Mediterranean. I usually manage that but the Middle East spam and the Russo-polish spam make me cry

Norway is pretty much the easiest one star cause you're separated from the USSR by water, while the Netherlands only has useless split Germany. |

My strategy to dealing with spam is to just create a meatshield of units. For example: When Donitz was surrounded in 1943 by a crap ton of South American spam, I just produced single subs out of a Cuban port to form a meatshield.
For land spam, I just build a large army of howitzers and heavy tanks and just push and grind until we have broken through. I did this in my Brazilian 1943 conquest and it literally was like trench warfare. When I landed in Spain, I built some howitzers in Sevilla and pushed toward Madrid. I built a field hospital there and healed Guderian up. After Guderian was healed and Spain was out, I just spammed heavy tanks. And I used the military academy skill to boost my troop's veterancy.
Same thing for the African front. I was bogged down by the Balkan, Finnish, German, and Italian spam. I pumped out heavy tanks from Cairo and later from Jerusalem. My personal strategy to deal with the spam in the Middle East for that conquest is to take out neutral countries so that I can increase troop production in the area to combat spam.
My total strategy to spam is to just fight fire with fire. Use their random spam against my heavy spam.
