SolidLight, stoic, Hannibal BarcaNot very impressed with the fact that weapon artifacts aren't very usefull. Stats are great, but I won't refuse from the bonus of the full legendary set. In addition I normally was saving the rage bar for the important moments. Need to try Atilla when I'll get to the cavalry team Right now I will use weapon artifacts with infantry team and legendary sets with archer team. Let's hope shield and mask in the future update will have passive bonuses Weapon's active skill is good btw. 400% damage to maximum 4 targets within attack range and 250% damage to maximum 7 targets. They're very unique. I prefer them than passive skill of the ring. I agree. It is very very interesting in theory. You use it, so maybe You are right. That's how I see it: If You need to drop weapon from the legendary set it is more or less same attack stat plus You lose bonus of full set. Having such an amazing attack with one general is great, but commanders give bonuses to every Your general in the range. And artifact needs particularly this general to be in the range of the enemies which normally is a challenge. In difficult missions being far from the team or being among the enemies alone is a one-shot life.

there must be a reason that ET brought these artifacts into play. It can be worse: D Yes, the sets are unbeatable. But with the Gen Skills and the sets alone, I can't complete everything with 3 stars in Gunpowder and Industrial Age. Now I have the chance to equip the rest of the troops with at least one good artifact So I was a little pleased when the game added legendary mode. After a 1 year break, I got new motivation to solve the remaining campaigns with the help of the artifacts. I hope so

In difficult missions being far from the team or being among the enemies alone is a one-shot life. I might give up the Paladin Sword for an artifact. The Paladin Sword is 150 atk, (effectively) +45% crit dmg, and +3% crit chance. My lv5 Gungnir is 130 atk, +20% crit dmg and +7% crit chance. It’ll definetly overtake the Paladin Sword in atk, which is the main stat I care about because crit damage is outclassed by atk, and crit chance is too unreliable for my taste. I also might give up the Titan Axe for an artifact, but that one atleast has 200 atk, so we’ll see. Don’t think that you’re giving up the legendary set bonus. You’re just trading around stats, and then look at the actual stats and think about whether or not you care about them or not.

Sniper master for Washington and Nobunaga are also superpowerfull. 3 instakilled units and even generals if You are under commander effect. Don't think it is reasonable to give up Sniper Master. I am very pleased with it performance.

Maybe statswise this way it is somewhat better than full set. Well, yeah, need to check when fully upgraded. I just don't like this kind of tradeoff I'll probably try to find some walkaround to give weapon artifacts to the support gens.

Huge different power.

Under active commander it is anyway instakill. Why do I need 400% if 175% is enough to kill? Quantity is not that topical, not very often can attack so many enemies at once.

There is no difference even between 100% and 1000% as long as it is a kill.

My Washington with Odin set + Gungir deal 4k - 6k damage w/o crit and buff with active skill in last stage of legend mode normally.

Maybe future updates will provide proper enemies.

But it’s strictly better than Sniper Master and the like and doesn’t cost a commander skill. The only real cost is Holy Relics and legendary set bonus. I’ve already explained why some legendary set bonuses are worth giving up, and Holy Relics are exclusively used to upgrade artifacts. That’s only a problem if you have the energy ring, which costs a staggering 6000 medals. Meanwhile Sniper Master costs medals to upgrade when you’ve got way better stuff to spend medals on. I don’t really understand your way of thinking quite frankly. Maybe you’re seeing this from the perspective where you’re at the endgame and just got the update, but that’s not relevant for most people.
