The Team:
4 at 150/10
Generals: "Arnold"/5*trader
Purpose:
I wanted to do a test run for a first conquest, with only Arnold for the 3 beginning Princesses (Maria/ Sophia/ Fatima).
Strategy: I mainly followed the 1798 GB guide with an emphasis on trading and managing the economy. No HQ generals, except for 5* trader in Dublin. Added Sidney and Mercer from taverns but both were under utilized. Used 2 mid medipacks, Rowland/ Charles.
Notes: I think the game starts with Arnold in the Academy. He seems to have potential as the "9th princess." I think 1798 France and HRE also have similar potential with only a trader.

As I know littlecorporal, his economic scores are hard to reach, John Marston just slipped 2 rounds behind Isabella. So Great Britain 1798, has maybe, with a detailed planning/guide potential for Isabella, Victoria is not possible. |

As I know littlecorporal, his economic scores are hard to reach, John Marston just slipped 2 rounds behind Isabella. So Great Britain 1798, has maybe, with a detailed planning/guide potential for Isabella, Victoria is not possible. For economy, I spend the first 10 rounds only investing in facilities, 10-20, spend all my money on units, 20-30 save, 30+ only spend in urgent areas (lone forts, units left behind). |

Strategy: Barclay, Suvorov, and Saltykov take Paris/ France, Sacken takes Istanbul and Rome, Bagration Madrid. Added Poniatowski for Denmark and Kollowrat for Milan. No HQ generals, except for 5* trader in Kiev.
Notes: I think the game starts with Arnold in the Academy. He seems to have potential as the "9th princess." I think 1798 France and HRE also have similar potential with only a trader. Purpose:
I wanted to do a test run for all major 1798 conquests for a 38 round, near max score. Prussia was unsuccessful, the economoy is too weak.
Strategy: All units attack Poland before adding HQ generals to spearhead French and Spanish offensive.
Notes: Not challenging conquest but fun nevertheless.

Looking for a way to get under 100 rounds. Economy is usually not a problem as you don't have to fight on too many fronts like France. Dispatch a contingent immediately to Egypt and Russia, after getting Tunisia. |

Added the generals Junot, Sidney, Bubna, Archduke J, Mercer, and Yorck. One medikit for Dumoriez. I have a save from round 23 so will retry or just start again. Lan starts on the double heavy cav and goes to Bordeaux to trade until round 10 before going to portugal. Notes: AI always has a few surprises. Not getting to Warsaw early was a big problem. Poniatowski can be a valuable ally or a powerful adversary. It took an extra two turns to kill him which ended up being the margin of victory. I notice that no matter how fast we get, spam always take place at Warsaw. We need some strategies for quickly destroying the units there. |
