27 new generals added into the mod. (Creighton Abrams, Augusto Pinochet, Jacques Massu, Le Trong Tan, Matthew Ridgway and more...)
The people who made the portraits are the skilled artists of the NWM Community Discord Server. Special thanks to them. They poured their soul into their creations and made more than we expected them to do.

Oh. I see, it looks like I made WAY too unrealistic scenarios. you will do however on another update the mysterious forces. That looks good. But tell me, what about the Chilean coup?, that existed so I was thinking in putting in the missions. Any ways, thanks for your patience with me. Ausfiderzen.🤗

I would like to know why you decided to do such a mod I mean that you have taken care of EVERY detail so much that the mod stands as a game itself. And also why a Cold War mod? Not many people has that idea. Oh, and if it's to personal, just don't tell it. I'm just asking. Ausfiderzen!

I have another idea. How about you add this unit: BMPT terminator. This vehicle was made to protect tanks against infantry. It has machine guns, grenades and rockets. I know this asset does not exist. But mix the turret of the wc4 Russian armoured car and mix it with the chassis of the T-72. Ausfiderzen!

By the way thanks for adding the European Commander. I just love the Ushanka hats and when I'm not online and I go outside I always use my hat which is exactly the same one this commander haves.

Not many people has that idea. Oh, and if it's to personal, just don't tell it. I'm just asking. Ausfiderzen! The lack of high standard for map/border accuracy, history, logic system for units in WC3 and WC4 mods mostly contributed to my motivation. Nostalgia also plays an important role, games like WC2, EW3, WC3, WC4 were very fun to play. Especially WC3 mods. I was also very passionate about mapping, history and alternative history, that's why map and historical accuracy are so important to me. Even I do some mistakes, however, they're not as a major as the obvious ones you've seen in other mods. There were also many flaws of every mods I've played so far that make the same mistakes and sometimes infuriated me. But at the same time, it was thanks to them I started modding. It's personal, but there were main things that I absolutely did not want to see in some mods: 1. 2D units cut from google images with 2 frames animations 2. Leaders with 0 military experience blessed with most op skills and are stronger than actual generals 3. Giving an unit to a country that doesn't belong to (ex. Russian tanks in the German Army or misusing GOG2 Modern tanks and forget their nationalities) 4. A style colliding with EasyTech's style (ex. units from another game or generals in different format) 5. Attribution of general skills with no historical research (Eisenhower is NOT a navy general) 6. Terrible maps and unrealistic alt history maps (ex. Mods with the Man In The Castle conquest, I haven't yet seen one that did it perfectly). That's about it. I know that my mod is not perfect but I have always wanted to lay some basic foundations of some of the stuff modders never paid attention to. Why Cold War? Cold War offered great potential for the alternative histories I wanted to make. But originally, it was because the nukes were so weak, unrealistic and lacked innovation in WC3/WC4 and the mods. It's not only Cold War, Modern War is also included. The Nuclear War is not about the Cold War, it's about all the possible scenarios of a nuclear war.

Update looking pretty good. One question though, will a general named Maurice Rose also be added? He commanded the American 3rd Armored Division "Spearhead" as the dashed their way to the German Heartland to capture the Ruhr Pocket. Rose himself was killed in action during the campaign, becoming the only Allied general to die in the Western offensive, after which they renamed the Ruhr pocket to the Rose pocket. Nonetheless, would you add him into the game?

Nonetheless, would you add him into the game? Unlikely, as he died during WW2. But in an alt history we'll never know how great he could be. You can ask one of our artists in the NWM Community Server.

Post-Second Sino-Japanese War aftermath: - Chinese Communist Party: The chinese communist guerrillas were hunted down to near extinction by Japan and Wang Jingwei's China to the point where the remnants of the CCP are forced to live underground with nowhere to escape. - Kuomintang: The party was split in two, between the pro-Chiang forces and pro-Jingwai's government. The remnants of Chiang's KMT 40th and 24th National Revolutionary Armies fled west in Xikang and Ma to continue waging war against Japan for the liberation of China.
