Oh cool! Another "Guderian Destruction Simulator" I'm confident it will be more than that : GoG 1 and GoG Pacific were games where the strategy involved was much more important than in most of the other Easytech games. Maybe stoic has a word to say about this, but if I remember well some of the levels were the most complex so far.

I'm just guessing that Guderian will be the best general in this game again, which is amusing to me.

It's interesting news, but why are the ships so big, especially the Cruiser in the third image?

Soon I get used to it, but it was VERY well done and detailed.

So far I am thinking that Glory of Generals is the most tactical of all ET series. And quite surprisingly generals haven't ever played the decisive role in them. I really liked GoG classic and GoG Pacific, but as a f2p player I could only hire one general in these games. Probably the best general in both of these games was not Guderian, but Rommel. I personally hired Vatutin and completed both games, but it was really hard. Technology was insanely expensive as well, so tactics was the only instrument the players had. GoG 2 was an interesting and rather unique game, as well. But we didn't have "generals" in a usual sense of this concept in GoG 2. They were rather cards with different bonuses. Most important things were technologies and technical upgrades and the quality of our vehicles. I haven't completed GoG 2,since f2p players could have only one top vehicle, and it was only a matter of time when you stuck. So, my opinion that GoG games are more difficult than WC. I really hope they will take as an example GoG classic and Pacific, rather than GoG 2, since we don't see high level tactics that often nowadays.

I understand the pain which stoic is describing. For the inexperienced, even the earliest campaigns in GOG: Pacific can feel very tough. You can to execute your tactics extremely carefully. And yes, the tech upgrades in the GOG1 games come at an extremely high cost with extremely low income. In GOG2, victory or defeat hinges on the troops deployed. You cannot casually throw them at enemies unlike what we usually do in other ET games.
I somewhat agree with the sentiment that the number of WW2 games that exist is a little too much, especially when examining the number of WW2 games developed by ET. We have fought the same key battles or campaigns across multiple games. Undeniably, whenever ET work on GOG, they do bring out some of the less well-known campaigns. The concern lies in whether ET may fine itself in a sticky situation concerning their country's rules.

Nobunaga Oda is right... For missions and campaigns like these ET easily could be fined...
