So is GOG3 impossible without generals like WC4, or do people who don't spend money actually stand a chance?

So is GOG3 impossible without generals like WC4, or do people who don't spend money actually stand a chance? Beating this game without spending a single penny(except for buying the game itself) is fully possible since 1939 is doable with only the free gens and in 1941 eastern front I finished it with only buying 3 generals (leeb, guderian, montgomery) but since I consider myself a novice player in terms of skill a more skilled and experienced player should be able to do the eastern front with only buying 2 gens or less I have yet to hear anything from 1942 pasific tho |

I completed 1941 campaigns with only 3 hired generals, so, I think, it is absolutely doable to reach a mid-game as f2p player. But no-one can say with certainty what is waiting for us in the late game. GoG classic and Pacific were games where the power of your generals was of secondary importance, and tactic was the main weapon. I hope it will be the same here as well...

Yup  they're 1939=cunningham, leclerc, bock, messe 1941(eastern front)=model, timoshenko, chuikov 1942=ozawa, arnold 1941(africa)=riccardi, alexander And the best part is unlike the ew series they're unlocked at the start of the chapter! |

Does the game req a Google Play setup? I got an apk for GOG2 but it wouldn't let me save without GP signed in.

My phone's save/load doesn't work anyway, which is why I quit WC4: It refused to load after I had sold Guderian and Konev, along with 1700 medals to upgrade Kesselring, to see if he could be good. |

I don't play WC4, etc on a phone... I use tablets...yes, plural. Practicing modifications as well as playing diff versions of the same APK, it is just easier.
