Ok it can be seen as whining but I think a 1 time honnest post is not that bad..
is it possible to get the forum a little bit more organized like it was a couple of months ago?
topics at the right boards and try to stay on topic? Now every good/interestingthread is in the end a spam feast about which general is best, how many post you made or that vietnam has to be added.. Bla bla..
Also the same topic can be found at different boards..
I know its a lot of work and maybe you say whatever dude.. But now for me the time I invest in reading this forum is not worth it.. I am sure I am not the only 1..
thanks for listinening me out.. Now I will shut up and not complain anymore here or in any thread!

The forum was so organized a few months ago because people like me and Von Bismarck jr and The Light Bringer weren't here and Napoleon Bonaparte and Jean Lannes weren't nearly as active. And if the thread question is already answered then we can go off topic. Things being in the wrong place is simply to OP putting it in the wrong place. You must be reading old threads as well since that hasn't happened for a while. Or maybe it has. I don't really check the WC3 side of the forum so I wouldn't know. |

I personally don't see anything wrong. If we couldn't go off topic at all after the original question has ALREADY been answered then our Random Area would be 300 pages long. And sometimes answers in a thread spark some interest, but it's not big enough to start an entire new thread.

Ok prepare for a TL;DR post. 1) the biggest, most biggest issue is nothing but that stupid spam which I and we all in fact (by some methods/reasons) keep doing to increase our posts, like the "LANNES IS BETTER NO SUVOROV IS" or the "Mountbatten is your overlord, HAIL him" or even my "Govorov is better than (insert random general here)", we seriously need to get over it, I mean the ranks were made to just show your dedication to the forum and not just to do weird stuff. Okay I know people want stuff apart from games but it doesn't mean you can just do whatever you want (best example, Vietnam dude, or the guy who wanted political stuff here). 2) to all those people who want to write in German, Dutch, Swedish, or even Urdu or any language please make a separate thread called the random language thread and do it over there, I've seen alot people who start to write in languages other than English after the topic or a the thread is answered, please guys, the official language of this forum is English, batten is right, do it in English. 3) about the threads being in wrong categories and stuff, well that's when people (sometimes in a hurry or sometimes just because they don't know where to post), I, volunteer to mark them as "move it to xxx board", no I don't have any intention to increase posts or to get some recognition but I too want this to end, it is clearly labeled on the planning room (example) " only guides and statistics are allowed " but there people are found asking "what general should I buy", questions like these belong to the military Intel compound but people post it over there I am sorry for hurting anyone's feelings and stuff, but seriously guys, get over these things (yes, including me)  . |

I seen the issue as well with a thread a while ago of people just saying X general is better. It really does get pointless after a while. This is the first thing all you guys need get over.

My mentality is that I'm 2300 posts past the final rank, so what I post no longer matters as much. It doesn't add to anything except my post count but there's no ranks.
