I have played both and from my point of view, 1804 is a remake that heavily improves on the original. It feels completely different, so I recommend you try it. I think some people are turned off by it being less F2P compared to newer games. |

I believe 1804 is worse than the original, and HangryBird, I believe that the newer games, although fun and very well put together, are not as mind-numbingly hard as they should be, rather than F2P. Of course, the best EW is EW5. |

I believe 1804 is worse than the original, and HangryBird , I believe that the newer games, although fun and very well put together, are not as mind-numbingly hard as they should be, rather than F2P. Of course, the best EW is EW5. Yeah, I like a bit of challenge and 1804 had a nice amount of difficulty in my opinion. I don't really have an opinion on EW5 since I haven't played it, but I'm turned off by it's graphics. They aren't bad in terms of quality, but the artstyle just bugs me for some reason. I'm 100% sure it wasn't meant to be historically accurate, at all (obviously) They just tried to make as many big battles as possible and amped em up by at least 3x |

Agree to disagree on 1804 though. Well, the graphics was the reason I didn't play EW5, but when I did tried it, it was actually pretty good. The idea of wars from different eras is amazign though |
