I captured 150 cities, got the last achievement. I have maximum resources and money, literature is not needed.
Should I seek to take over the remaining cities? Can you get powerful purple items or holy relics in powerful cities?

Can you get powerful purple items or holy relics in powerful cities? You still need to capture those with attack missions or autobattles otherwise you can't claim to have completed the game. I can't think of any more prizes to come though (unless you still have the Defence cities like Osaka & Angkor to finish) it is only for personal achievement  |

And 155 cities will give you your remaining 2 Daily Missions, providing a total of 10 Daily Missions.
150 cities caps of at 8 missions.
