Also Patton has an extra medal in movement. But Dougy Mac, Patton's Blitzkrieg is "useless."

My first generals were Rommel, Dougy Mac, and Rundstedt. I breezed through Eastern Front with minimal campaigns to get Dougy Mac, then I got Rundstedt. However; I was still at 1250 medals when I finally was able to get Dougy Mac. If you would like to get an Allied general before Pacific 1942, then I suggest Monty or Govorov. Rommel is a better tank than Guderian; Blitzkrieg is not a very good skill, and Panzer Leader is the best skill for a tank general, especially when pairing it with Tide of Iron, Armored Assault, or Blitzkrieg (the only instance in which it is good. Medium Tanks will not always be the main tank force- think about the future). I don't have an opinion on whether Guderian or Rommel is better, but I disagree on Blitzkrieg being bad. You have a 50% chance to avoid a counterattack; it's nearly as consistent as Assault. It can save a lot of HP on not just medium tanks, but heavy ones too. Heavy tanks cannot outrange regular artillery and other heavy tanks, so Blitzkrieg allows you to safely engage enemies that you normally wouldn't be able to otherwise. Still not Consistent enough. 50% isn't consistent enough for me to risk 60 HP.

Not according to Hangry Bird. I mean, about the Blitzkrieg comment, not the HT abbreviation.

Besides, I was referring to how you treat the consistency of infantry leader to be equal to that of assault. Infantry leader is good when it procs, but really, is it as consistent as Blitzkrieg and Guerrilla? Your argument against these skills is that they aren't consistent enough.

I'll have to think about this.

With Blitzkrieg and Guerilla, you are counting on them to trigger when you attack dangerous enemies. With IL, it's just a nice perk.
