I notice that the tech upgrade doesn't effect any stats of unit (HP and attack as example, attack may be hidden and add when calculate damage but how about HP?). Does anyone have any clue about this?

I upgraded armored technology and after restarting the first mission attack of my tanks increased accordingly... Before upgrade attack was 31-56

I decided to test this out myself with the cloud save feature, and I can confirm that upgrading your navy tech doesn't increase your navy unit's stats

Which makes Pacific campaigns incredibly hard btw... Not if you have a buff navy gen 😉 Nevertheless the higher is the basic stats the better is the output. I am not happy with playing naval battles without really improving my naval tech tree...

Not if you have wolfpack 😉, but yeah this usually results in the mighty battleships getting beaten by units 100*smaller than them (I actually don't know how big ships are compared to regular land troops in ww2 so I just assumed it's 100*)

I wonder do we need an admiral as a top priority in Pacific...

Although having upgraded my Navy tech at level 2, I still foud it surprisingly weak. Now I understand why...

Yeah,I was wondering the same thing, I tried to clear the axis missions whit 'only' guderian and leeb, but eventually got problems to get perfect score(only was able to get 2stars). Also there is pacific campaing 1944 so it is worth to get a top navy gen for each faction i guess

It is possible (but very hard if you're aiming for a star) to do 1942 pacific allies without navy general and idk yet about the axis side
