Hi, what is the minimum tech level required to clear one conquest of Eastern Front? I tried the easy German and Soviet countries but my allies just crumble despite me bringing Guderian + Messe panzer group to cut their gens off It's perfectly doable with 1939 tech and 1939 free gens

Here is how my eastern front German centre group is going. I'm unsure what to do since Manstein is dead and I have no deployable generals. Plus the south group have a lot of troops coming. Romania might be able to make a good advance on them and I feel like North Soviet group may be dead in a while. What should I do here?

It's normal for your allies to suck and the enemy side to be overpowered regardless of Army Group, right?

It's normal for your allies to suck and the enemy side to be overpowered regardless of Army Group, right? Unless you dump your whole nation's income at them

It's normal for your allies to suck and the enemy side to be overpowered regardless of Army Group, right? There are times when RNG decides whether your allies crumble or hold out. You'll also need to destroy the enemy faction ASAP if you want to build up your economy quickly enough.

Unlike WC4, its pretty easy to blitzkrieg all the conquest stages to get the achievement rewards. Back in WC4 one could only complete 1939 + 1943 to some extent; 1950+ was rather untouchable both in terms of difficulty and in terms of being locked. Now in GOG3 strategy has a much greater prominence than just general tactics, thus its easier to complete conquests regardless of tech level and game progress. Personally I just completed Africa with Rommel's Afrika corps, despite having 1939 tech

When will this be updated? Probably when he gets time to update or when he finishes all of them or both.

For Slovakia 1941, I'd recommend it to be normal red. From my experience as Slovakia, the Soviets can take and dish out quite a lot of punishment. They even spawn quite a few EC gens if the game drags on. I saw an EC being spawned in Moscow within Turns 35-38 in response to my troops approaching the district. While the player is struggling against the 3rd and 4th Army Groups, North Group and Finland will collapse without monetary support. When Center Group's troops have been wiped out, North Group WILL collapse, especially if Finland is collapsing or has collapsed. Then, the 1st and 2nd's combined might will overrun North Group's lands and Center will be greatly pushed back. Reinforcements from South Groups can stem the tide for now, but without military or monetary support, the 1st's economic strength and 2nd's military aid will push the Germans out of Poland.
Disclaimer: I was playing extremely passively for the first 10-15 turns and I didn't use any gens for this. Overall, it is not for newbies or the less experienced, especially if gens are not deployed.

Slovak 1941, play somewhat aggressively. Concentrate your force on Yugoslavia first, take em out. Take out(but no necessarily defeat) Soviet 3rd and 4th. Form 6 unit armies when possible to hold cities and to attack to destroy as many Soviet units as possible. Reach Soviet 2nd en masse while German Centre still holds. It’s not necessary to fund your allies. Wipe Soviet 2nd economy and proceed to mop up Soviet 1st and any remaining territories of the other Soviet groups. It's practically required for you to use generals. This strategy is the same for Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria as well.

ustyno92, it might be that my passive stance for Slovakia had cost be a swift and decisive victory. However, the weakness of Slovakia is apparent when compared to my recent run no gen of Bulgaria 1941. The different experiences is why I believe Slovakia should be normal red instead of yellow.

You could march through Hungary, but that's sabotaging your own faction.
