This way you can still capture two farms, but you don't have to turn the natives hostile. Downside - the place to touch on the screen is different for advance and take-back. Upside - you cannot accidentally overrun into the stable with trading post and find yourself obliged to reload.

My experiences with grinding for nobility are:
Gaining nobility is with stealing two fields is almost as fast as stealing three fields. You need 50% clicks more, but the 'time consuming' part is the annimation - longer moving causes longer intervals between the clicks. The advantage of a three-field spot is not noticeable.
Never Surrender is a mission with two spots where you can steal two field at the start. If you can access this mission you don't need a save-slot.
Nice your spot in Chain the beast. I used now, a place in three emporers where you can steal two farms in Round 2. And you can move the map that the back-button appears over the destination hex. For me this is most important: I zoom and then I tap to the rythm of music in the edge without locking at the phone.
The crown is a super booster! (+300β
) It took me less than 20 minutes for each new princess to be on nobility 10. (14-18Β½min)
I bought the crown in the daily shop. And after 90minutes I sold it again! 200π loss - a good deal! Having all generals with max nobility is a great advantage! Not only for the extra health every round - trading in the beginning of the conquests (selling π§) can be done by everyone.

Nelson should be able to kill it with 2 hits. From the spot your light inf is currently locating, you should be able to cover all 3 farms without running into the stable if move towards the +40 farm in the middle.

The animation is exactly the same: you only need to move across 2 grids. Also, you can by the crown at Austro-Turkish War early in HRE scenario. There's Radetzky with 4* trading already assigned to save your medals.

Three Emporers the actual mission, but with 69 campaign, my France 1806 gave only 650/200. ... and the crown in the shop ... I sold my war horse, bought the crown started with Arnold then Sophia and: Isabella shows up. I maxed even her, and after I joined Maria, even Sakurako arrived. 800/400 just for the headquarter nobility. After Maria was on 10, Arnold sold the crown, after two hours (It didnΒ΄t went back on sale). This was a good deal ! If the daily shop offers +6 attack items or snairs! - I buy them. You never know witch Item they offer, maybe its one not from the campaign.

I'll give it a shot and see what happens. The only problem I foresee is that when they go rogue my infantryman might not survive the retaliatory wrath. Not too much of a problem; if that happens I will just restart and kill them all before landing him.

What I meant was you only hit the light cav once before your light inf is in position and ready to grind. Therefore, even if the second hit turns them against you, your grinder is already in place and their hostility won't affect anything.

The tougher alternative is the farm east of Cairo. That requires even better positioning and very good deployment of gens to neutralise the French and protect Nelson (you lose if he dies). Either ways, the best is four on this map.

Nobunaga Oda, I tried for this one once or twice, but it was beyond my feeble powers. Erich von Manstein, I loaded up my CTB save and killed the cavalry unit. The first hit got forgiven, and by the time the cav unit was dead, my infantryman was still very much alive. So I've got an easy three-farm grind, and with that in hand, the effort needed to create the four-farm grind falls victim to the law of diminishing returns.

Either ways, the best is four on this map. You can also use the five farms if youβre one hex right. You just have to bomb that inf with artillery. I did it but I had to use isabella on the artillery, so I couldnβt have her grind.
