Hi,currently I have a team like
Nearly fully upgraded Beseler(ambulance+tent) and Stonewall(Browning Pistol+Ambulance).
Moltke,Ivanov,Ulysses,Max Loof,Philip Sheridan and David Farragot. none of this guys have their skills upgraded.
My artillery team is enough,cavalry team needs work but Stonewall compensates it greatly.I lack good navy generals and infantry generals.I have around 700 medal so I can buy anyone I want.But I'm not sure which one is more important since navy is situational and infantry is not good at all.
What do you suggest?And which general I should go for?I looked a bit to infantry generals and none of the generals looks great,even the best of them has useless skills.And for navy I am not sure Beatty or Hipper is better,both of them look cool.
Any advice?

Any advice? Get horace for Navy for now, prioritise strabenbourg(I forgot his name the Austrian Infantry general that isn't boeveric) |

Horace doesn't look good,I want generals that I can use for the end game Well you won't really need a competent admiral until the British challenge campaigns and besides Horace is dirt cheap for what he offers and he is usable in history mode |

I tried history mod and get my **** kicked in the very first mission so I don't know much about the history mode.And I just started the british campaign so I need a decent navy general I think... Ulysess does a nice job for now,I'm going to buy Hipper I guess

I can't emphasize straubenburg's importants as an infantry general enough hipper can wait until later just get horace and de robeck |

too late... I get Hipper and upgraded his Line Of Battle and Navy Commander, he looks fine but I expected more from him like Dönitz in WC4

After taking the free Turkish Navy General,now I have four navy generals which is enough even though they are not top tier.Ivanov+Beseler duo is really great and the free one serves fine when needed.Stonewall is really a monster now.
Precision Strike V
Jungle Fighting VI (crown medal)
Tactic Master V
Edge V
Riding Master II (I will change it with surprise attack)
but my Moltke doesn't look sharp,I'm not sure If he worths upgrading or not,even though I don't have a infantry general (sorry Ulysess) I'm going to buy Plummer I guess.

Definitely go for Plumer. Inf generals are weak (lowest defense), slow (when all cav & art can move 4 tiles, HMG & new infantry can only move 3 tiles meaning they are always stuck at the back) and most important no victory rush. Avoid deploying any inf general in campaigns or conquests if possible, use cav general instead. You only need 1 top tier inf general such as Straubenburg. Second and third inf generals can be mid tier ones such as Macmahon, Maria or Garibaldi who can also be used in history mode.
Moltke is the sixth strongest cav general in the game. If you have other stronger cav generals, you don't have to upgrade him. I didn't upgrade him and change his skill (counterattack to surprise) until later on for more difficult conquests.
