Commuinst China didn't come into power until 1947 so we are technically talking about Taiwan since they were the og China. And yeah I had also thought of a bit of America form the west coast. No I meant like when did Taiwan appear in any mission, also I think Taiwan probably won't appear since none of it's forces (under the flag) appeared in a mission

I wish and hope that after (or even better, along with) the remaining Pacific Campaign, the Korean war is added.
And I do hope Pacific is mostly focused around Japan, having this 5 army groups. USA will have two army groups, one on the west mainly naval and one on the south, having New Guinea, then Australia showing some of its northern part and also having some of Indonesia. China would be not shown entirely, but still has 2 army groups. Thailand could be added instead of it being all Japan, if so, the UK would be also in this theater, below China (British Raj in India).
Korean war would be more interesting, as it'll be on more land based theater. China would have 2 army groups, USSR one and North Korea another 2. South Korea would have 2, with USA being on south and center of Japan having another 2 and United Kingdom having a last one in the north of Japan. This makes Korea be the main theater with support from the other 4 powers, all trying to make a foothold on enemy's territory through naval assaults.
On paper they still look more boring than the ones we currently have, hopefully on practice they don't.

Considering we already have 6 campaign sections with about 12 missions each (once Pacific 1945 is added), I don't think a cold war campaign will be added. By extension, I don't think we will have a cold war army group as well. Furthermore, we don't have any non-WW2, Cold War generals in the shop. But if we do get a cold war army group, the Korean War would be the best since it is the only proxy conflict that escalated into a bigger war between two major powers.
