I downloaded the game just yesterday. Played EW6 1804 and GCR, but many new things here after reading other threads. Please clear me outa some questions: 1. Where are the ideal places/missions to farm/grind for medals/gold/medpacks/textbooks. Please detail me if you have any place, as resources are the first and most important things we should consider before anything else. 2. Please lemme know the number of item we can buy from shop. Heard that we can have 2 ambulance coaches, 2+1 canvas tents, 3 medkits?? And 9-12 ability items?? 3. Can we change the skills for every generals we have, can we add another skill for the gens that have only 3-4 skills?

1. 1861 Conquest, Campaign Challenges, daily missions and ads. Textbooks cost 45 medals or can be earned from achievements or campaign challenges. 2. I am unsure, but ambulances and canvas tents are very useful! Also, the best items give +10 general ability and +30 art/inf/navy/cav ability, namely artillery quadrant, M1917 Enfield, Binoculars and Browning Pistol. 2/3 of each will do. I have 4 canvas tents, 2 ambulances and 2 medkits. 3. Skill subs are allowed (cost 5 more textbooks for each, so for the same general first skill swap costs 5 books, 2nd costs 10). Skills CANNOT be added, unfortunately.

Like Netherland 1798 in EW6 1804 Try the Purple coloured conquests in the Conquest difficulty thread. I don't think much research was conducted into Auto Play runs, but in 1914, you'll need to pay quite a bit of attention.

Erich,Cuba 1861. That's auto-able, and can be done with Sheridan/Stonewall with an ambulance coach equipped.

Can we change the skills for every generals we have, can we add another skill for the gens that have only 3-4 skills? 1. You can farm coins and special items in history mode. You'll get nothing ~20% of the time, book ~53% of the time and other special items ~27% of the time. The "other special item" for 1st Balkan War and Russo-Turkish War is gold medal. The "other special item" for for Austro-Prussia War, Cuban War, 2nd Balkan War and Battle of Verdum is silver medal. The "other special item" for Franco-Prussia War, Battle of Isonzo and Battle of Marne is Medical Supplies (+25% HP). Buy MacArthur and upgrade him to Marquess and M General and you can start farming in Cuban War.
2. You can buy 2 ambulance coaches, 3 canvas tents (you can get 2 more from Dual Monarchy challenge scenario rewards and 1861 conquest achievement) and 2 med-packs (you can get 1 more from Civil War challenge scenario rewards). Healing items and upgrading useful skills are more important than ability items. As a rule of thumb, 10+30 ability ~= 10 attack points ~= 5 damages.

Thanks to hear that we can grind for things. But can I win the History mode without any general, coz I see each mission has a list of specific gens, not every gens are allowed to join? And we can buy 3 canvas tents from the shop? Or we can have totally 3 including the two from missions? Personally I prefer the healing items and increase def/hp items, coz 10% damage increased seems not that much, only useful in some situations.

So if I understand correctly, we can have 2 ambulance, 5 tents and 4 medkits for total? That’s so many compared to EW6 1804

You can have 2 ambulances, 5 tents and 3 medkits. This is just enough for conquest challenge where you can deploy 10 generals.
You won't be able to complete any historical campaigns without general (unless you use lots of medical supplies). These campaigns are harder than normal campaigns. Some of the historical generals are free (such as Todorov, Moltke, Selivanov). Many of them cost coins only. Most of the generals that require medals can be used as your main lineup (such as Joffre, Stepanovic, Hindenburg, Leopold, Plumer, Beseler, Ivanov, Beatty, Bacon, Aosta). I used Macmahon and Maria as my no. 2 & 3 Inf generals.
Besides grinding for special items, you can also get a bonus item (such as Hero medal, awards order) from Franco-Prussian War onwards. The bonus items are rewarded randomly after a 3-star victory so you may need to try a few times.
The good thing about Cuban War is that you can get multiple hero medals (Artillery Expert + 1). I think this is a bug as there is only one copy for all other special medals. At the moment, I have 6 hero medals, more than I need. At level 6, Artillery Expert improves damages by ~18%. IMO, this is a must have skill for non-auro art general.

I have won the Cuban 1861 conquest twice, the first time they gave me 15000 coins and some medals, the second only 5000 coins. So, is it from History mode only we can farm? And do you have some place to get the medals (normal medals to buy gens/gold medal/silver medal)

And do you have some place to get the medals (normal medals to buy gens/gold medal/silver medal) Daily Missions, Daily Videos and Daily Rewards from Princesses are the way to go for long-term farming. First clear rewards for Campaigns, Achievements for Campaigns and Conquests as well as History mode clears are short-term sources of income. I'm not sure if EW6:1914 follows the GC:R method for Conquest farming in which the first clearing of a specific state in a specific Conquest era gives a large amount of rewards. If yes, then try out different states to have fun while you earn resources.

Thanks, I just think that we can farm for medals and coins by fast win a mission/specific conquest again and again (Cuban 1861 can be finished just by end turn and let allies do the things for you). And the reward from winning conquests usually more than from other missions so we can get things easy and quick.

Unfortunately, you can not farm normal medals, otherwise everyone would have the best generals very early on and all campaigns will become too easy (except max 0/1 generals ones).
The only way to get a little bit more medals is to exploit a bug in daily missions. I'm not too sure about it and this is what I think that triggers extra missions (up to 4 more). The default no. is 3 per session (each session 8 hours apart). Sometimes the 3 missions do not appear all at once (I don't know how to trigger this). You complete the 2 that appeared, go back to the main menu then re-enter campaign mode and the remaining 1 appear. There is say a 1 minute delay between the first 2 and the last one. When you attempt the next session, the normal 3 missions appear together and then 1 minute later, there'll be an extra one (you need to go back to the main menu and re-enter campaign mode 1 minute later).
You need to be on time for every sessions. I was late by 2 minutes once for a session and it reverted to only 3 missions. When it's about time for a session, I switch between the main menu and campaign mode to make sure I'm on time.

Before the Xmas update, it was easy to get 6 (7 with "top secrets") missions per session. After the update, I only managed to get an extra mission per session.
Thanks, but that cost so much time, and I’m so busy to be on time everyday do the clock time changing trick still work like in ew6 1806? And are the rewards from conquest challenge/history mode for each contry the same (no medals for second time winning)?
