Can one of them replace the other more or less like to like? If (ignoring the emblems and other factors) both were in my team, which one should I regroup? |

Can Isabella replace Davout? Davout is a great starting general. Buying him on start will be a great help. And Davout's combination of Max+1 and Assult Art can give the highest DMG at all, but only on selected battles. (Enemy must be on a flat and empty hex and AA mut tigger) Isabella is on average the far better artillery general. Her Accurate is in more than 95% of fights > Explosives + AA. Endgame, Geography is almost useless. It helps only on heavy cavalary and light artillery - engineering is the key to profit from geography - this combination is exclusive for Isabella. Isabella is a pure (the best) artillery specialist. On artillery she is overall the better choice, but Davout can achieve the higher DMG records. Theoretical interresting and a great fun if AA tiggers, but strategical not usable, unless you want to relay on massive SL. |

How about Lan vs Dombrowski? Not vs. Lan you buy him, with real money to get Lan. Dombrowski ia more like a Sakurako: only on cavalry. and missimg movememt and training - + with luck: Defense Art. But get IAP early, special if you don't play much campaign. |

littlecorporal, Isabella is great for speedrunning a conquest (and normal gameplay) thanks to her Geography skill while ditching Explosive. Isabella is a beast when you train her to a 5 star artillery and mobility. Moreau on the other hand is a all-you-need general.

He may be the only general superior to Isabella, but he has fewer training stars. |
