After much tought, the First consul has decided to land veteran french troops directed by Philippe Pétain in Québec where theyy will move downwards towards the state of New York, Vermont among others. These troops will be trained as the Old Guard had beem and will form the rank and file of France's new colonial army.
After a watershed moment where quebeckers were joyful to see french armies coming to free them as celebrations ran rampant on the streets, Philippe Pétain set up headquarters in Québec City, being designated as provisional governor of Québec and appointing Henri Bourrassa to head the charge of ounishing those who sided with the enemy, the U.S of A. Leclerc has been appointed leader of the ice breaker charge towards New York State.
