Played ew6 1914 for a week, although not reach so far in the game but it’s the final version, and thanks to the threads that help me avoid many mistakes choosing skills and generals. I have some ideas about skill combos, and some questions also... please share your thoughts.
1. Ambush + Cover (maybe + Alert): this’ why Macmahon is so good, 10% to reduce damage is not enough, but 19% is enough I think. And if you can sacrifice one more attack skill to add Alert, Infantry will be the true meatshield. Bring the +HP items with your gen.
2. Counter attack + Revenge: not much to say, but 30% to double the +20 counter attack is awesome, better if you also have the first combo, to negate enemy attacks and fight back with this combo, best if that counter attack is critical! But Ew6 not favor the defend side as there’re artillery and ship and tank, whata pity.
3. Formation/Riding/Artillery master + Rage: Yeah, 10% for +35% damage is just 3.5% damage increased, but 19% to +60% damage is good. This combo is not so great, but with special medal to reach Rage VI, it’s good to have.
4. Plain fighting + Jungle fighting: I think this combo is better compare to MF+JF, it gives us enough mobility, and make sure that we have +25% attack most of the time as mountains also have trees on them.
5. Tactic master + Dogfight/Deterrence/Suppress: One more time to make another enemy suffered, why not.
6. Pierce + Suppress: good to deal with enemy general as they have such high defend. Although the total defense decreased is not that much but -25 to -30 defend approximately is about 10% damage increase for us, equal to another best attack item.
And the last, my question: Do the missions in Campaign interface appears at specific time each day?? Heard that they have 8hour duration to refresh but idk when, please help.
Ah, and the skills of Artillery expert, Gunsight master, Cav expert, Infantry master... I think they increase the AttackFloatingCoefficient of Inf/Cav/Ship/Art not the raw damage. Remember the damage formula from ew6 1806, exact damage will be choose randomly between maxdamage and maxdamage*attackfloatingcoefficient. And the Attack floating coefficient: Inf 0.8, Cav 0.7, Ship 0.65, Artillery 0.6; so that’s why we have 3% increased each level for Cav and Ship, +2% each level for Inf and +5% each level for Art. And with level V of those skills. We’re going to have the coefficients like: Inf 0.9, Cav 0.85, Ship 0.8, and Art 0.85. Thanks
