1. Vichy was a sovereign nation who disagreed and disobeyed Germany in many instances. However, it is still considered a puppet. Belarus is considered a Russian Puppet today, but they are still sovereign. 2. I meant is disliked the lack of diplomacy. Sorry. Notice how Vichy still had to obey Germany in the boarder sense: they had to round up Jews and provide laborers and resources for the German war effort and so on. Vichy was not 100% sovereign; it did not have full control over itself. Yes, Belarus is 100% sovereign, but people consider a Belarus a Russian puppet because they are extremely supportive of Russia. Thus, Belarus is not a puppet in the literal sense, but is a puppet in the figurative sense. Ireland is 100% not a puppet, no matter how you look at it: literally and figuratively. On the other hand, Vichy is literally the definition of a puppet state while Belarus is not a puppet literally. None of this changes the fact that Ireland should be independent nation in this gamemode.

1. Eire was a British puppet, practically. 2. No borders is fine with me. 3. I don't like that Spain is in the Axis. 4. Moreso than tech, I dislike diplomacy. If they had made this with EW6 tech and diplomacy, It would have been amazing. How is Ireland a British puppet? They fought a war of independence from 1919 to 1921. If you mean that they were a puppet de facto, that's not true either. They may have been a pro-Allied neutral, but they were still a 100% sovereign nation. In short, nothing can justify why Britain owns Ireland. If you dislike tech and diplomacy, then why do you want the EW6 tech and diplomacy? The AI behavior is trash. I was sending the British expeditionary legion 600 plus per turn and they cranked out like 40 double infantry, a couple tanks, a couple heavy art, and SAILED them over the water to engage with the German Africa Legion IN THE WATER. Neither group made naval units to combat each others armies moving over water. Neither added spec forced to their units except one general unit had a .... transport truck.... they just spammed infantry. If they would shrink the map a bit (won't happen), and would improve the use of different units/spec forces by AI this would be a phenomenal game mode. I'm disappointed in this case to have given them money for an unfinished product.

Besides AI behaviour, there are a few other mistakes like this. Also, based on past ET games, shouldn't the "Gibraltarian Legion" be better off named as the "Moroccan Legion"?

By the way, capture open neutral positions, but DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT attack them. A single naval strike on Portugal turned the country into an enemy state.

Portugal is easy to kill in one turn, take what's free, have some arty and ships handy, kill 3 units, jump in, done. This assumes that you concentrate troops and ships for a swift blow. Although neutrals can be handled by stragglers, I'd rather just avoid unnecessary distractions. I just prefer the tactical economic advantage over the strategic economic boost. Switzerland and Sweden would be cumbersome to deal with even though they can be in the way. Portugal and Turkey are out of the way and more annoying to take out. Plus, the enemies around or on the other side of the neutral's territory, if any, would naturally take priority. All the more reducing my desire to pursue neutrals unnecessarily even if it's an easy hunt.
