Or maybe try 1939 challenge battle like the battle of France to grind is also not a bad choice

my tip would be to stack medals, like complete all missions of pacific 1942, africa 1941, perfect africa 1941 ect ... and unlock all of it once you fully clear eastern front perfectly. You will get around 400 medals plus the medals from Prestige

Use autoclick and play Bliztkrieg only in 1st turn. That the way I get about 100,000 medals in this game for free before I delete it.
