Out of all ET games(excluding the paid ones and the ones not available on android) I've played EW4 the least by far, idk why but whenever I try to get into the game I just get really bored and struggle through the game thus losing my motivation after playing just a few campaigns, also yes I've played and enjoyed GoG2 and fortress under siege WAY more than EW4 I should be court martialed.
Any advice on how to get started on this game?

Idk, I'm very unfamiliar with the game as is so let's start with general gameplay stuff. Alright. You have 6 campaigns. The starting two are similar in difficulty. They are unlocked by first. Complete French campaign... Blue one, you unlock the third one. The last two are the toughest campaigns, requiring lot of replays, items, generals, etc. In the conquests, you have 6 different settings. 1. Europe at 1798 2. Europe at 1806 3. Europe at 1809 4. Europe at 1815 5. America at 1775 6. America at 1812. We will soon be getting the general flavour of each conquest by littlecorporal. |

Even I felt the same playing ew5 and GOG3. |

You have to finish conquest in a specific time period, along with other factors (for the elite ones) to get them. Sophia, the first princess is pretty easy to get and strong too. Trainers are used to increase the stars of Princess and generals and princesses. Every star deals +5 damage extra. |

You can put your princesses on units and battle with them. Only ones needed are trainers. However, if you really want to buy generals, then check this out - 1. Updated list

Good to know, also there's a general in my academy with artillery trainer and not half bad skills and stars names Gazan, should I buy? Yeah. Gazan is a cheap trainer and you can regroup her into Sophia/Isabella if you play that long, which I hope |

My: How to get into EW4?Don't worry about genrals for now. Play the campaign. For now, only IAP generals can help! Imreial Eagle (French) and the coalition campaign have all the (top) generals you need. Get a feeling how to battle (flanking) Just concentrate on the objectives (red circles) !!! Try to win in time. (5β gives 50π) Replay old missions where you didn't got 5β a few missions later. My General guide helps a lot. Around 50-100 campaign progress, you do a conquest to pick up some princess. |
