I am with Trotsky as well. Losing is the most fun you can have in any game as it challenges you to do better. Without generals the game is tough. My favorite conquests were historically impossible scenarios- I remember telling my wife about how the Hessians conquered America. She was less excited than me.😂

Once you have learned how to win without generals, then get some generals to help you win quicker. If you cant win without generals, they wont really help you win anyway.
