Hey everyone, I went with MacAurther and it paid off. Usage of infantry is a new wrinkle in GoG 3 that I’m exploring more. They aren’t just meat shields anymore haha. They were always the superior unit in ET games, just nobody uses them right. What? Is that a joke? In WC4 infantry was about as strong as a wet noodle, Any armored or artillery unit could tear them to shreds. Even a four piece mech infantry with Rundstedt or Yamashita could easily get wrecked by a 4 or 5 star tank gen on a 1 piece heavy. I once one shotted 5 Motorized Infantries in a row with Messe on a two piece medium. That fact that you think infantry is the best unit is downright ridiculous. The only thing they were good for was meat shields to protect you generals and holding important cities during campaigns. |

I think WC3 will be easier since units are not as tanky and all nations have commandos
