The thing is that our sucess as a forum is almost entirely dependant to the advertisment of ET games and those who play them. We must maybe help promote ET games or get older inactive members to return that could bring back the spirit of the Forum back. Maybe a shout here will bring you back Mountbatten 😢

The thing is that our sucess as a forum is almost entirely dependant to the advertisment of ET games and those who play them. we must maybe help promote ET games or get older inactive members to return that could bring back the spirit of the Forum back. Maybe a shout here will bring you back Mountbatten 😢 I have seen best75 , Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus and Gone online recently.

Ok just a quick note about the moderated posts above, some lines were removed because there were some references to unethical behavior and we really just don't want that to appear in our forum.
As to inactive members yes we have them : all communities, all forums, all chat sites ..the entire planet has them. It's as normal as breathing air.So then why obsess about what's missing? A better way imo is to rejoice at and make full use of what we have right now..right here!

The thing is we don't all share the same view of what "success" means, everyone has their own definition of what that word means. This is no different than in real life in judging what makes a person successful. For me personally our forum has always been successful in that we achieved and vastly surpassed our goals of providing a platform for players to share knowledge and be helpful to each other. We are literally serving pages on an industrial scale: by the millions, so that service alone makes me happy enough to think of us as very successful. But yeah, word of mouth, linking to back to our site, and putting our platform profile out there or simply just mentioning the EFC forum name on the net does help in adding more membership and of course it's very useful when people do that for our site. |
