曹操, I reopened the poll. You probably set a timer for the poll before it becomes locked. For Axis, I hired everyone in your list except for Kesselring and an admiral. I think I replaced Model with Rundstedt, then, I bought Yamashita followed by Rommel. For the Allies, MacArthur was my main investment. The free gens generally performed well. I got Govorov during 1944 Western Front.

Update: i had finished battle of coral sea and now i'm entering African Front 1941 Currently need Infantry general for Axis Should i buy Rommel ( He is a panzer general but quite useful in desert warfare) or Kesselring (Infantry Hybrid) or Rundstedt (Has Fire supression and logistic but low on mobility)or yamashita (Has guerilla skill and higher mobility than Rundstedt)? Rundstedt is the best. However he is pricey, and if you want a cheaper Gen, get Kuribayashi, who is Yama but slower. Speed isn't important for Inf, because there are a variety of fast special inf forces.

My blunder was hiring Yamamoto for Pacific 1945 campaigns. Last Axis campaigns are land battles with small funds for extensive bombings and first campaigns can be completed without air support. So, most of the time I used one Japanese general - Yamashita and 4 "special guests". I deployed Yamamoto, of course, in last campaigns, but without any specific purpose. Since most of the players have Guderian and he is counted amongst "native" Pacific generals I think this pair Yamashita/Guderian plus 4 "special guests" are all that is needing to complete 1945 Pacific Axis campaigns. In some naval battles Guderian can be easily replaced by Ozava.

And I think we don't really need Nagumo either. Doenitz is better because of his aura. Only in one type of battles Nagumo might be better - namly landings. But even here better only by a small margin. Doenitz with support of Ozava can easily win naval battles and destroy opposing generals. Both Nagumo and Yamamoto were killed before 1945 but for some reasons Yamamoto is available as "native" general for 1945 campaigns while Nagumo is not. This fact alone imo is enough to prefer Doenitz.
