The British gave naval support for most attacks in the Mediterranean and the operation was highly promoted by the americans and they played the most important role during the cease fire with Juin and Darlan.

By that way, it was Darlan himself and I believe axis lost north Africa in Egypt, not in Morocco or Algeria. |
