John Marston, STILETT0You both are partially wrong about CAA. Firstly, it does not prevents Muslim immigrants from taking India's citizenship, they can still take citizenship through the normal procedure. It only gives citizenship to Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian, Parsi and Jain immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh who came to India before 31st of December,2014. Its effects on Muslims are negligible except Assam(where 600,000 Bengali Muslim immigrant from Bangladesh are living). Both sides overreacted to it (outside of Assam). Also if it is "anti-muslim" then it is "anti-semetic" too, since Jews are excluded too. My opinion about CAA
It was just a waste of time and resource. It was a distraction created by politicians in Delhi from real issues like worsening economic situation and rising unemployment. BJP and INC wanted to use this to polarise the Delhi elections so they can neutralise the popularity of state government(but failed resoundingly).
Also, you cannot justify Triple Talaq whatsoever, it is banned even in Pakistan, an Islamic Republic.

1. on which international table is J/K officially recognized? I can tell you they definitely aren't recognized by Pakistan, China, as well as Tajikistan/any other country simping for China's economic promise. 2. I hope they do include Muslims soon. Tell me any good reason they were excluded in the first place, and I will shoot out of my seat. |

Pakistan is a largely Islamic nation, and so is Afghanistan. Why can't they just say "everyone who arrived before 2015 gets an easier procedure of citizenship." Also, yes. That was just a massive waste of time. I also don't understand why India is seen as China's main economic rival, when their economy is constantly faltering. |

Because Muslims are not minorities in these nations. This is the justification given by Amit Shah. 2.Is it seen as rival to China? I don't think India has been ever considered main economic rival to China. |
